No one could really stop him in the paint he would dunck on people left and right and made them look really stupid in the process!!! He was just unbelievable for a man his size!!! Best big man to ever play the game of basketball!!! I'm so glad I got to see him play in person in his rookie year against the SPURS right here in SAN ANTONIO and it was a he'll of a game!!! Once again great video!!! 👍👍👍

Not the most technically sound player. But very skilled. Not as agile as a wilt, but very mobile for his size. Doesn’t have the range of a kg or Hakeem, but had amazing touch around the basket. Not the craziest footwork, but still very effective. A blend of skill, and absolutely unbelievable POWER. Down right illegal the way he played. Every move looked like an offensive foul, the way defenders bounced off him. He simply was a juggernaut. He could not be moved or stopped 1 v 1. The only ones that dared to try was Yao Ming and Olajuwon. Everyone else were BBQ chicken trying to contain the DIESEL.

In my opinion, the "Shaq and Penny" Magic teams not only were amazingly fun to watch, but they also had the coolest uniforms of all times. They don’t make em like this anymore. The modern nba is such a circus. Unbelievable offensive shooting talent and athleticism but that’s it. Once David stern the marketing machine changed the hand checking rule to increase offense because people were not watching as much the game started to become softer. Now it’s just a league of James hardens and steph currys chucking up threes all game and getting soft and one calls. No defense or pride at all at least most of them. I miss the lock down defense days and rivalries with the big cities. Bring back the 90s b-ball days please.

The man weighed weighed close to 370 pounds in the later LA years and still managed to average 37 MPG. That alone shows you the type of athlete he was. I highly doubt the NBA will see another athlete of that size be able to handle that kind of work load. Wilt was an incedible athlete no doubt and well above his peers in terms of skill level. However, there is a vast difference in the physicality of play and style of play from the 60's to the 90's. Both would dominate in any era but if you put Shaq in the 60's he is ABSOLUTLY putting up the same numbers. Anybody who debates that is just being an ass for the sake of it. My favorite player of all time! Brought intensity, showmenship, leadership and a grind it out style of play that everyone can appreciate. The fact he is in the conversation with Wilt and guys like Olajuwon, Robinson and Ewing are not, is definitly a testament to his game
