The really story is, the day before woman/neighbor called GPD to complain about kids playing basketball in the street. PO Bobby White took the call. When he arrived he spoke to the women that called it in and told her he was not going to do anything about kids playing . They do. All. The. Time. Welcome to the reality of how media's true control of the narrative, is what they do not report. Case in point. Do a quick search of how many potential mass shootings, were thwarted by a conceal carry citizen. Doesn't happen often you say, because you haven't heard of it. That is not an accident. Open your eyes.
@rayshowtv23504 жыл бұрын
In Singapore, we called it community policing. Where officers build rapport with the community and residents
4 жыл бұрын
@@rayshowtv2350 Community policing is all over America, unfortunately the media doesn't cover it because it doesn't fit their agenda. The media wants you to think that the cops are beating and killing everybody they see. The fact is that shootings occur very very rarely. There's well over 50 million police/citizen interactions annually. Death of the hands of the police, (regardless of fault) occur less than 0.002% of that. And this includes ALL deaths of ALL races and genders. A little over half of these deaths the victim had a gun. All put the remaining 4% percent of that 0.002% we're unarmed. Still, it doesn't mean that these unarmed victims were harmless or not posing a threat. They could be unarmed but beating the shit out of the cop. For beating the shit out of somebody else. Finally, there's the margin of human error that is inherent in all humans. Sometimes a cop has literally seconds to decide to shoot or not shoot The result of which could mean he could easily be going home at a body bag. Having said that I still think that there's a lot of room for police reform. The majority of that reform needs to take place in their attitudes that they are not the king of the hill but rather public servants. They don't arrive on the scene as the boss and the authoritarian they arrive as a servant that happens to have the awesome responsibility of having to uphold the laws as they are written, refrain from personal judgment, and most of all uphold the Constitution as they swore an oath to uphold. Covering up in fractions and crimes by their brothers in blue should be frowned upon and systems put in place to make sure that's minimized. In the meantime we still need to respect our police. If we disagree with or policy or they're handling of a situation we still must comply at the time I'm contest it later. Not necessarily out of respect of the police, (although it would be nice), but rather out of respect of self and out of respect of civility and what this nation stands for.

This is awesome! Shaq made those kids,day,month,year? Not even about the money. Him just being there and talking with those kids,giving them great advice! Love it! Great job by all involved!

When people say 'we have to take our country back'; they should be talking about guys like this Cop and Shaq, not some weasel politician. (Edit: when I made this comment I didn't even have a specific politician in mind)

Those people are the same that call the cops on these kids for playing ball. Who are they trying to take the country back from??? Good thing we’ve got people like Shaq and these cops out there doing right

Shaq is truly one of the greatest men and has the greatest heart ever. Such a true leader and so respectful and demands respect and expects everyone to respect and love and care for their parents. I absolutely love seeing these stories about Shaq. Just goes to show color has nothing to do with it. He is just a good hearted soul that loves to help anyone he can that's in need. I wish so much everyone one could be just like Shaq Very generous man

Jeffrey Adams Shaqs an awesome person. I met him several times. One of the most kind-hearted people you'll ever meet. You should see his house in Orlando Florida. Doesn't live far from my uncle. My uncle lives in Kissime Florida. Not that far from Shaq.
