Anxious to hear about the changes to your household! Loved this- I have to work fast some mornings when I’m running late for work- not my preferred way to do makeup, though! Using a face palette would help cut down on time- I often grab my CT Look of Love palette that has everything in it. I know there are others out there- sometimes that’s all I have time to grab! 😂 it’s tough some mornings to get to work before 7:00 AM! Have a great week!! ❤

Sharalee, yes I’ve tried to speed up my makeup routine too! Oh it’s a challenge! I’m lucky if I can get done in 15 minutes and then I question if I’ve forgotten something! I don’t like being rushed. I strongly believe in skin prep and therefore I add more time! The price we pay! Blessings to you and your family! I really enjoy your videos!

My name is Karla, I am 62, live in SE Oklahoma and have very dry skin and of course mature skin. I could never apply my full face of makeup in 13 minutes. Lol. Do you have any tutorials geared towards dry skin ladies? Especially concealers for dry, dehydrated under eyes? I’ve been using a beautiful face oil and adding it to my foundation and concealer and it’s been amazing. You are such a beautiful lady. Oh, watched your videos in getting your puppy at the airport and seeing her since she’s grown up a bit. I have a tiny toy poodle and she is my shadow. I love this idea…especially for those of us whose workday starts super early and/or unfortunately may still be required to mask at work 😷 After all, who wants to spend 45 minutes applying makeup just to have a mask rub it off? 🙄 So for that reason alone, I’m glad you chose all drugstore options. I would ask if you could continue to comment on what steps you could either skip altogether or combine and tell us why? For example like you did with the bronzer/contour combo. I also noticed that you skipped your Mac paint pot step. 😊Those sort of tips are helpful as well. My other request would be to film a quick “stay at home all day” but still “look somewhat presentable just in case” video. I personally love to have one day a week that I don’t have to drive anywhere but still want to have a presentable look just in case….Thank you again for your creative ideas 💕

One of my least favorite things to do in the world is to rush with my makeup application. That is my me time and being the perfectionist that I am (and I know you are also 😊) I would hate to see that it wasn’t perfect. I have noticed that I need less makeup as I get older ( I could be your mother) so that has definitely helped cut several minutes off of my application. I find that prior to actually starting the makeup doing the skincare & preparation takes awhile especially when you’re trying to let the products dry in between layers. I’ve never actually timed myself but it probably takes about 30 minutes.
