Your stylist is the best- there is NO doubt. I have had so much trouble in my area finding a hairdresser who can CUT and COLOR with skill. Bad, horrible hair cut in Oct that I'm still growing out... and horrible experience in January with color. Showed him a picture of your color, Sharalee. We have basically the same base color med brown level 5. I came out with the brassiest, nearly orange hair. He did not lift my hair light enough and used wrong toner. Still recovering from that horrible experience.

Love this video. More inspiration. As I grow my hair from a super short pixie to an undercut pixie with more length on the top your videos have helped me to visualize what I hope the final look will be....fingers crossed! I have never been great at styling my hair and am learning as I go. Do you know what size the barrel of the hairbrush used for the blowout was? I have been using my fingers but am thinking a hairbrush will help with adding volume. Thanks for sharing. My wife is thinking about getting a cut like yours for the first time her hair is about shoulder length now. She asked what I think about that idea. Not sure how I feel about it. What should I tell her ? She works out hard every day and said with it short it’ll be so much easier for her workouts. Should I be fully supportive and tell her do it?

This style only works on people with the right facial shape, not every one will have it look like Sharalee's. Be encouraging if your wife wants to cut her hair.... she will be the one who has to live with the consequences of the cut, it will be be amazing or regrettable at the hands of the stylist.. Ive had some awful cuts when I had a bright idea for a look... good thing hair grows back. If she is going to get a pixie, make sure she goes to a salon with someone who is experienced in the cut and wont botch it.

In the last couple of summers in the U.K. I’ve taken to wearing a short bob rather than my usual shoulder length style. Took some searching to find a salon in London with whom I could have a serious consultation and who works with clippers…. Hardly any lady stylists do this for their female clients. Anyway I found a good one, loved the results and my short summer trim. Feels lovely too.
