Within the realm of J-pop / J-rock, Tsunku is considered to have a very good voice. Why? Because he brings a lot of the traditional enka style into contemporary J-rock. (And if you don't know what enka is, then really you need to hold your comments until you do.)

@wickedmuso His voice used to be great, just listen to old recordings with Sharam Q. He's currently suffering "an unspecified throat condition", which started showing up around the time of this vid, thus him having pitch trouble. I agree tho, his real strenghts are in composition and production. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have been hooked to H!P as I am now.

Hello????? This was an ORIGINAL song from Sharan Q, so Tsunku is the original Singer of this song... Momusu only did a cover of the song, yes it sounds nice and sweet from Momusu but that doesn't mean it's a female song.... please don't say things like that wihout knowing first...

Tsunku has an interesting tone to his voice - but he has pitching problems. Don't let that take away from the amazing legacy he has created though. The huge volumes of variety in his music and what he has done with MM. However, "extremely good" is not how I would describe his voice. If it were, we'd see more of him. His real strengths are in composition and production.
