Not for me personally, if only because I don't really do tactical games, especially if they are difficult. But it seems like a great title for those who are looking for this sort of thing. Even if I don't plan to get this, I appreciate the review as always.

Also, why can't I see the rats' details just by hovering my mouse cursor above them? Why must I first select my character, then tab through each rat in my character's range individually?

I have been really enjoying this game so far, tactical RPG's that aren't Xcom are my jam. Difficulty seems just right, graphics are on point, sound design is meaty, and there are just enough options to keep it interesting and create strategies without unnesesary bloat. I will see if I change my tune later down the road, I didn't make that much progress yet, but so far so good.

If there was ever a game specifically tailored to appeal to me, this might be it. Does it have an Iron Man difficulty?

I started to play from the Normal difficulty. It seems to be 'Ironman' by default... :) Or at least I didn't figure out or see how to load/reload a map. Maybe if you fail...? (Hasn't happened yet.)

Are there any mods for this yet? I know the Dev has talked about adding mod support later if the money permits but I'm just curious if there are any other than that? I like to support developers that add official mod support as to me, it opens the game up to the creativeness of the community and in turn gives me ten fold the amount of hours/content.

Love XCom, love pixel art, also love to create my own character or be given random ones. Not sure why devs think i want their character in a game like this. Only reason I cant enjoy it.
