A beautifully fitting tribute to Major Joy Webb who was Promoted To Glory at the beginning of October. Her musical legacy, which began with the Joystrings and continued through all the years of her service to the Lord and to the Salvation Army, will continue to bring new souls to God for many years to come. I know what you mean. But my Mom took a course in conducting when studying for her masters degree in music composition and found out that is an actual standard style of conducting that some prefer: I believe the idea is that you make your movements right before the beat instead of right on.
