Here we are getting it done together along with your video. Most people do not understand how hard it is some days. I love your upbeat character and thoughtfulness through it all. Most people want to throw or regift or donate but you did it with everything your kids liked. Money definately doesn't grow on trees. I liked very much how much love you put into this video. The music is perfect with what a mother feels and goes through when she experiences thinking how...and how much she has to tackle as a woman who loves her family. My kids do clean their own rooms but they don't get it top notch every time. Every once in a while I go through the toys and declutter, throw out broken toys, organize, which is far more than they do just cleaning the toys off the floor and putting everything back in toy boxes.

I spent almost 10 hours on my 10 year old's room yesterday! The struggle is real. I found an over the door shoe organizer was the best for holding tiny toys you mention like shopkins, Barbie shoes, etc. It also holds her art supplies & hair accessories.

I think ima gonna store toys in the closet but store it to where its easy for her to pull out and play with it thats how. I got my oldest daughter a shoe drawer also instead of the closet since she's using that space to for dolls and etc. But great video love tfs.

You can always alternate toys as well if you want to put some toys up high and just alternate what toys are put up every week.

Oh by the way, I think method changed up the "steel for real" stainless steel cleaner to something a bit different. I got the "stainless steel cleaner + polish" in a new bottle, so maybe that's why we can't find it anywhere! Still works great and smells good!

I think it's just a little girl thing to find random little toys inside other bigger toys! I find random strange toy combo's all the time. I think its hilarious to get an inside view of our kiddo's imagination! I also find funny scenes set up. Like her fave stuffed animal is a duck (Mr Duckleton) with a doll sized backpack on with a baby sized Mr Duckleton inside the backpack and they are strapped to the top of a fisher price car. I had to take a picture of this because it was so funny and it really shows how their imagination is really at play! I love it! I don't however love the fact that none of this imagination playtime is ever cleaned up by them! lol I hope to get a system down to where they know that everything in there room has a designated place to go so it is hopefully easier for them to do clean up by themselves. That is the goal... Reality might be different though... We shall see! Mama is tired....lol

Beautiful room decor very relaxing my mom would do this to my younger brother and I but she called it blitzing 😂 she’d warn us that if our rooms weren’t cleaned she’d clean them and we knew what she meant once she let us think she threw away our toys ( but she hid them in her room which was off limits ) about 2 months later we see the very toys that we thought she threw away back in our room the only thing is my nephews would mess up my room and I’d get blamed I’d fight with my sister as she was 13 years older than me ( she’s deceased) about her sons messing up my room I literally had to hide things from them

You should let your girls help with the tidying, and then they can choose what they want to donate and give to other children that will play with the toys they dont play with anymore. They know what they play with and what they dont play with anymore so they could be a big help with decluttering and organising. It will also help them want to keep their room tidy too if they are involved with this process, and when it's all done they feel good and proud of themselves that they have helped and it's an achievement for them.

I have to do it while she's at school or she won't let me ever get rid of anything whixh ends up causing way too much clutter and way too many toys. Hi, this video is from our old house. We have recently moved. My girls were 2 and 9 in this house, so my 2 year old tore the room upside down all day long, which isn't fair to make my oldest clean up after the baby. The mess was mostly from the baby. My oldest keeps her toys put away and puts away her own laundry. Telling a 2 year old to clean is like telling milk to pour itself. Lol. ❤
