Hey thanks. I added a new line (Enter) character at the end of the comment line. Its explained at time 10:56. Hope that helps.

Hi @Asif Khwaja, Your Part 1, 2, 3 and 4 series are all informative. What I liked about your video was the calm approach you take in explaining each of the steps. Specially I learnt how to store the multiple approval comments which was not as clearly explained in videos of Reza Dorrani. Kudos to both you and Reza for providing us with such informative videos.

I like the level of the details. A few suggestions: 1) instead of multiple nested ifs you could have used switch control. 2) first capture all comments into a string variable, and then check the outcome. That way you don't need to use the same code multiple times

Sir, i want to assign approval flow one by one like, if supervisor must approve first , then line manager and finally HR. not all of them getting email at same time. Can you help with that please.

Asif, Thank you for a great tutorial. How can I stop the loop when the item is approved or rejected. The flow completes but the start the loop again since the status on SharePoint is updated.

I really appreciate the effort put in by you to create this video. Thanks. After creating the flow, I am facing an issue for which I need your support : Lets suppose, If there are 2 approvers and first approver approves the request (without putting any comments .i.e. comment field is empty) and second approver rejects the request (without putting any comments .i.e. again comment field is empty), then as per the flow we will not come to know which approver rejected the request as comments field will be empty. Is there a way out by which we can display the information under "Approval comments column" which shows clearly which approver accepted the request and which approver rejected the request without making comments field set as a mandatory field.

Hi @Asif Thanks for sharing such an insightful video. I have a query : You created "Approval Comments" column as "Multiple lines of text field" but in my case when I create the column as "multiline text field" it is showing a hyperlink named "View Entries" by default as per MS feature and only If I click on it, I am able to see the Approval comments which I have appended through Power Automate Flow. Could you please guide me how can I rid of this hyperlink "View Entries" and directly show the comments on my main SharePoint List view page instead.

Can you explain what is supposed to go in the ApproverEmails variable? My ApproversArray has the outputs('Get_items')?['body/value']?[1]?['Approvers'] and in the last video I thought you left ApproverEmails blank...help!

Hi Asif, thanks for the breakdown. One issue with my flow is that it keep running even if the Progress and startWF columns have been switched to no or new. I'm afraid my trigger conditions are below are not preventing the flow from running repeatedly. @and(not(equals(triggerOutputs()?['body/StartWF'], 'No')), not(equals(triggerOutputs()?['body/Progress/Value'], 'Not Started'))) Any advice to solve for this issue?

Hi Miguel, your trigger conditions look correct to me. Are you using the values 'No' and 'Not Started' for the StartWF and Progress/Value columns? Note 'no' or 'new' may not work in this case.

​@@asifkhawaja I'm using 'No' as a value for StartWF. I removed the 'Not Started' option and replaced it with 'New' per your comments and the flow still continues to trigger. The flow history show's it's successful once approved, however, it keeps triggering a new run that get stuck at the 'wait for an approval' action. Any other ideas that may remediate this?
