Brilliant review. The most thorough on KZbin. I’d love to see a comparison with its direct competitor, the Anker Prime 200W. Thanks!

Thanks for testing this powerbank. Was on the verge of buying this instead of the 170. But the shutoff of USB C port due to overheating as it is outputting 100w is a dealbreaker for me. Whats the point of buying when it cant live up to its claims

Will be testing the 170 soon!

@@TheTechnologyMan cant wait for it.... Hopefully it doesnt suffer the same issue as the 140

Very good details video i found so far, Thanks. Does this new display shows amp and voltage? Also would love to see review of sharge 170w too

Glad it helped! Not on this one. I'll be checking out the 170W in a roundup video soon.

It would be nice to see efficiency tests are different speeds but otherwise good detailed review!

approx how long did it last at the 100w output before overheating?
@TheTechnologyMan5 ай бұрын
IIRC around 10 - 20 mins.

Please let me know any portable power banks you want me to include in my upcoming roundup? I'll be doing 100W plus chargers first, then 65W, 30W and wireless chargers after that. So happy for any suggestions! And if you have any questions not covered in the review - please let me know down below - I'll do my best to answer you!

Could you try and measure parasitic drain(?)? I find Anker ones seem to be dud when I need them and feel like I'm always charging them.

@@gaijintendo Great suggestion - will look into it!

I’ve found Anker currently has the fastest chargers and historically anker and another less known but just as capable company RAV has the most useful chargers for any tech.
@TheTechnologyMan6 ай бұрын
@@davepirtle9790 Yes I've never found you can go far wrong with Anker - but they're not always the cheapest. RavPower is no longer allowed to be sold on Amazon in the UK - maybe they're still available internationally.

Does this support Samsungs SFC 2.0? (45w)
@TheTechnologyMan6 ай бұрын
I don't believe so.
@sharge_official6 ай бұрын
Yes, Shargeek 140 supports Samsung SFC 2.0.
@TheTechnologyMan6 ай бұрын
I've double checked with my USB tester (which supports all current protocols) and it doesn't have complete SFC support - there's no 5A PPS output.
@Jays946 ай бұрын
Thanks for the quick replies. For clarification I'm assuming this means the power bank supports Samsung SFC 1.0 but not SFC 2.0?
@TheTechnologyMan6 ай бұрын
@@Jays94 I don't have a new Samsung phone to check I'm afraid. SFC is basically PPS which this charger does support. But my understanding is SFC 2.0 requires PPS at 5A which this charger does not support. Doesn't make a lot of sense since can get to 45W with PPS quite happily at 3A! If anyone is able to check with one of the latest Samsung phones I'd be interested to see what's negotiated with this charger!
