Happy 1 year!! So glad I found your channel! Your list is so classy and "perfumista". My holy grail is Glossier You. Easy reach, easy wear, makes me feel like a "cool girl", long lasting, most complimented fragrance I own hands down. I've gone through 7 50ml bottles since it launched in Sept 2018, and that was with not wearing fragrance from March 2020-August 2021 (didn't want any fragrance to be associated with lockdown). I think I will have to go to the Kreigler boutique in NYC soon to smell Abracadabra.

Definitely bought Thameen - "Blue Heart" at your recommendation & paid the $50 shipping from Harrods as it was out of stock at Selfridges. Buying from the company website had the same shipping fee to the US so I just bit the bullet. I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE! I receive SO MANY compliments wearing this fragrance and I NEVER want to be without this scent. It quickly made its' way into my top 10!

Girl, the way you describe Rosendo Mateu no.5 sounds so dreamy. Am taking the plunge, saw it on fragrancenet 🥰. My holy grails are probably the ones am enjoying the most at the moment; Kilian's Angels share, BDKs Gris charnel & Rouge smoking, Initio Side effect, Replica's jazzclub, BR540, Mancera's Instant crush, Thameen's Peregrina, Penhaligons Changing Constance, Poets of Berlin, and Coco noir mademoiselle. I almost always layer with a vanilla for extra sweetness, mostly kayali vanilla 28, MFK Gentle fluidity gold, Jovoy Fire at will, M.Micallef's Note vanille, Dyptiques eau duelle, or 7 virtues vanilla woods 😇. I so enjoy your videos. You have me very curious about Blue heart as well, can't wait to try it....

It can definitely work year around...though I tend to wear my deeper vanillas in the cooler months. It is not at all too heavy or too sweet. Perfect ,sexy, date night vanilla for year around. Just think SDV with a pear and a gorgeous Angelica. It's check's kiss.

Watching some of your older videos (again)- questions about Blue Heart.... does that saffron pull sweet or leathery? Is the frag sweet? Do u smell coconut in any sweet form or is it more woody/nutty like Santal Complet?

To you and anybody comment section surfing in the future: I wonder if Scherzo by Miller Harris is anything like New York 5th Avenue by Fragrance du Bois? I've heard it's a fragrance impossible to accurately describe and my curiosity is so piqued. NY 5th Ave is a strangely fruity rose oud and I keep imagining that Scherzo is similar. If not, what are the main differences? Lastly, I have Vanilla 28 by Kayali and it looks and initially smells like a very thick, boozy sweet, dense vanilla but the performance is intensely disappointing. On my skin it's a wish washy skin scent with poor projection and low silage. The longevity is more like a 'stain' on the skin, which is useless to me. That's not the sort of longevity I look for, nor rate. The search continues. I have Tihota, Roses Vanille, Intense Cafe and Absolute Aphrodisiac but I still feel there's a certain boozy, dense POWERFUL and high quality vanilla out there (without crossing too far over the vanilla border into the resinous, spicy amber vibe of things like Lune Feline and Ivory Route). I'd love some suggestions of absolute beasts in the rough ballpark of all of what I've listed above. All suggestions very gratefully received. 😊

I have NY 5th Ave. and its nothing like Scherzo. Scherzo is a lot sweeter and airy, very hard to describe like you said but again not reminiscent of NYFA at all.
