Was this a live orange pilling moment. Interesting to know wealthy people like Nikki Glaser don't oversee their own finances and prefer to rely on others to manage it for them,. Think this is more common than not in the wealthy sphere. The most important part of orange pilling which takes time is planting the seed and continuing to plant the seed from different angles, the more touch-points the greater chance of it really hitting home regardless who you are. Respect to Natalie for planting the seed.

When people become rich &/or famous, task #1 to master is always the same: Give responsibility to other people. You have to hire assistants, lawyers, managers, chefs, cleaners, etc., all kinds of other people to trust. So the rich & famous are literally the last people on earth to respond well to the concept of "don't trust, verify." That sounds like "throw away my career and be poor" to them.

Thanks Natalie. I enjoyed the Convo, but this lady would have to be about the toughest person in the world to orange pill IMO. She has plenty of money, but thinks the solution is for those damn greedy people to give more in taxes. She doesn't understand a central authority will be picking and choosing who should get that money. She also doesn't understand WHY kids and family is important and WHY a Capitalistic society is not bad in and of itself. She also wants no responsibility for anything and wants to promote a system that is fundamentaly hurting what she says she's against. I wouldn't personally even try to on board this one. She would NOT feel that she should even have to take responsibility for her own money. She actually reminds me a lot of my sister! 😆 And I've been working on her for years! So kudos to you if you can enlighten this one on what is really going on her and what the real solution is! Correction. Maybe she won't be that hard. Just finished and she blindly said she will invest. And she was "interested " But, wow, for her to understand it, would in my mind take quite a bit of work on her part. She knows nothing and is completely turned around at this point. But , maybe that is good!

As usual, several ppl commenting negatively about Nikki’s cluelessness about money, despite her confessing that herself near the beginning. It’s as if those people came out fully cooked when they were born, no space for growth or learning. Nikki actually sounds a lot like I was about 10 years ago - wealth inequality is caused by greed and the money needs to be shared to the poor, we need a new party in power, bankers get paid too much etc… - it is far from rare to have this mindset. It’s a symptom of not being taught what money is and the workings of the financial system being deliberately obfuscated. When you grow up in a world where there is no true price discovery and everything to do with money is obviously out of balance, it’s no wonder that some of us, including myself, grow up with no interest in it, and become “out of touch with reality” like Nikki is being accused of being. Through learning about Bitcoin I’ve come to understand the world much better and that the real source of the problem with money is that it’s broken. Nikki and others like her may also in time
