just curious, why everyone is doing delivery, mcdonald's jobs? Why now IT jobs, finance jobs, hospitals job? Moving from india to canada just for these jobs doesn't makes sense at all!

Because no one hires students in finance jobs or hospital jobs on student visa and when work permit is applied its very difficult to find jobs. And you need money to survive so in student phase people do such jobs and later on move to other jobs. Ultimate goal is PR. All people in Canada have struggled and even got their PR working in places like Walmart , then. McDonalds and Tims . So if you're curious come to Canada as a student and then experience how every immigrant struggles at start. I hope this helps

I agree.. There are other better options(countries) which actually have opportunities acc to education but some Indians have this herd mentality to move where everyone else is moving hence the less opportunities..

Doing part time job in McD after having 3 degrees, how is that success? I understand that getting part time job is good but dont project it as a goal while studying

1. Ok so in Canada survival is necessary ! And GIC isn’t sufficient ! 2. I m not a fool to project this as a goal. I am looking out for jobs since i just graduated and the job market in Canada is so low that even people are struggling to get off jobs !!! :) 3. People on PR withn 8-10 years of experience also are struggling to get of jobs 4. Layoffs in IT sector is strong 5 , and even my boyfriend who is IT grad from Australia is isn’t getting jobs so he is manager in McDonald’s doing dual jobs people I hope this helps you :)
