I love everything you made and your choice of patterns. I live in a fabric wasteland in that all there is available is quilting cotton, so you saying what you used for each pattern is really helpful as I will have to buy online.

Hi Sally. Your makes are so pretty and functional as well. In the autumn/winter, I make solid colored pants in crushed velvet and sweater knit tops. Perfect for California weathet. In the spring/summer, I wear bright prints, especially florals. I use rayon challis or poplin, and I love ITY knits, and always sleeveless as it is quite hot here. I love making dresses, but hardly wear them. Every year, I make 10-12 dresses and never wear them. Maybe i will learn this year. Lol

I do wear a lot of dresses in the summer but in winter I'm far too lazy and just want to be warm and cosy. I do love to make dresses though they are definitely my favourite thing to make. Live all of your makes, especially your Safiya wrap jumpsuit and you myosotis dress My favourite make this year has been my TATB Ness Skirt. I've made a midnight blue twill version and a mustard cord one. I'm planning to make a denim one this year. I'm also planning to make some loose fitting swishy dresses this year, but I've not decided which pattern to use yet. Maybe the myosotis dress 🤔 xx

I am really new to sewing; please , please can you do a video how to make the wrap around jumpsuit. Especially how to adapt the pattern shorts and make them longer. My daughter is hoping to go to Thailand and this would be fantastic to make for her. Thank you

I do already have a sew along for the shorts version here kzbin.info/www/bejne/oarXoIKGn6qLftk. (it's a very old one so forgive the sound hah). For the longer leg I drafted down from the bottom of the shorts pattern to the length I wanted. I used my Safiya Trousers from the same book that I had already shortened to culotte length and simply placed that on top of the shorts and traced down. I hope that makes sense, I will definitely think about a video for you but I'm not sure it'll be very soon so I hope that might help a little xx

How does the Mira compare to the Sudley? They seem to be similar silhouettes.

They are a little different, the Mira has a tiered skirt whereas the Sudley has a plain gathered skirt. They are both lovely patterns though :) x
