I had a luxury listing appointment and couldn’t find a single thing to wear that I felt confident in.
Now to be honest, I have had body image issues my whole life. I’ve never felt skinny enough. Strong enough. Lean enough. I’ve always focused on the things about my body I didn’t like.
The funny thing is, in my business life, I know to only focus on the positive and not dwell in the negative. Look for solutions. Take action.
So why would it be SO different with my own body?
I’m now sharing my journey of learning to embrace my postpartum body the 2nd time around.
I decided to switch my mindset. Be kind. More gentle and understanding of where I am on this crazy ride of choosing to love & appreciate my body for what it had done for me, versus beating it up for how it looks.
I have extra cellulite. I’m 40lbs over where I feel comfortable. I have lumps & bumps in places I’ve never seen before.
But you know what? No one else sees this besides me.
My kids see a present Mama. My husband sees the woman he fell in love with. My clients see a bada$$
Realtor. My team sees someone who cares about their goals.
I decided to do a clothing try-on with you to show the process of finding an outfit I felt great in!
And ya to know something about clothes I’ve FINALLY learned to embrace?

It doesn’t mean you will be there forever.

I love that you own it. 🤗 Your outfit looks great and I love the shoes!! After babies I decided to get rid of anything that didn't make me feel sexy. I found a great consignment shop and traded and even more I donated. Bags and Bags!! I know I have bumps in places I would rather not and that doesn't change the fact that I care, I work hard and I remind myself regularly that my clients love me for my brain and my Real Estate Rockstar Skills, not my body. 🤣
