Have you ever used Premiere Pro? I recently made the switch from Final Cut Pro X and could not be happier. Being an avid LR and Photoshop user, Premiere's workflow has increased my productivity.

I used it in college and the lightroom/photoshop integration is really convenient, but not enough to make me switch.

Nice. I'll be honest my recent edits have taken a bit of influence from your video editing. I apologise if it appears to be a straight bite of your style. Im still trying to find my own lane with this editing business as I only just got FCP and am learning the ropes with how to give a more unique edit. I do have a tip with the screen recording though. I downloaded an app called Ripcorder Screen which allows you to take a partial screen recording i.e. only the wave file recording of a guitar (I have an example in my recent video). The advantage of this is that rather than cropping a full screen capture you are simply recording the partial section of the screen which you need and therefore retains a better quality screen capture compared to a full screen crop. Its a free app and really easy to use.

Does Photoshop come with your Mac book? When you cut your photo to edit your thumbnail is the background transparent? I have a logo I had made for my YT & when I try to put in on a thumbnail or the video there's the black background behind it. Also, can you recommend other programs to use for people who don't have Mac products?

No it doesn't come with your macbook. When I export my thumbnails I export as a JPG so no the background is not transparent. But i'm exporting logos or anything that I need the background to be transparent, I'll hide the background, then export as a PNG
