Joyous Caribbean Funeral in Saint Vincent

Funerals in the Caribbean are very different than in most places. They are an occasion for joy, laughter, and dancing. I ran into this funeral of a popular pastor on the island of Saint Vincent recently.

Always celebrate the death of a person because they are no longer enduring any pain, or sorrow. Our hearts will be grieving for the loss of a loved one, but we must realize that he/she would have served their time here and will be out of his/her misery. So we celebrate the life of that person as well as their passing.
