Game Rules:
Setting Up the Game:
Place pillows, cushions, or mats around the room to act as "islands."
The rest of the floor is the "ocean" where the shark swims.
Start the Game:
Play some fun, upbeat music to get the kids excited.
When the music stops, the "Shark Attack!" is announced, and everyone must quickly jump onto an "island."
Shark Attack:
One child or an adult can pretend to be the shark, trying to "chomp" (tag) anyone still in the "ocean."
If someone gets tagged, they become the new shark, and the game continues.
Variations:
Island Hopping: Players must move from one island to another while the music is playing. When the music stops, they must freeze on the nearest island.
Island Shrinking: Gradually remove one "island" each round to increase the challenge.
Winning the Game:
The game continues until only one player is left untagged. That player is the winner!
