That sure looks like fun , is there any danger whatsoever involved?

Aero Mundos - I wouldn't say its risk free. After all, these are large wild sharks. But they are here for the bucket of fish. I don't think they view divers as a menu item. Neither my wife nor I ever felt threatened by the sharks. They were very relaxed swimming around us. During the feeding portion, the divers were moved to a spot away from the food with a reef to our back. Even during that excitement, we didn't feel that we were taking unreasonable risks. And once the good was all gone, the sharks went back to a very relaxed non-feeding state.

I was taught not to wave your bare hands around as the sharks may think they are fish. Is this true?

byron owen - while I’m no expert, I would agree that waving or ‘floating’ your hand out there is probably just asking for stitches. When they were feeding, we were a (relatively) safe distance from the action, shoulder to shoulder with our backs to a reef wall so we weren’t too worried about a hungry shark swimming between us and making a mistake. We were told to keep our hands down if a shark did approach. None came near us during the feeding. Once the food was gone, the shark’s behavior returned to their pre-feeding relaxed state. After the dive, we all agreed that during the feeding and while we swam amongst them, we never felt threatened or anxious. It was a very cool experience.
