[4K] Shark Encounter Full Walkthrough, join us in the Sea of Mystery for a fascinating journey through one of the world’s largest underwater viewing tunnels for a rare and up-close look at these amazing ocean predators.
Shark Encounter is located in the Sea of Mystery Land of SeaWorld Orlando, Shark Encounter shares the Ship Wreck Reef area with the Shark's Underwater Grill, Fins Gifts, the Nautilus Theater, which is currently used for seasonal shows and events, Mako Coaster, a Bolliger & Mabillard steel hypercoaster opened in the area on June 10, 2016.
Shark Encounter is a walkthrough attraction that originally opened in 1979. Shark Encounter contains a 700,000-gallon aquarium and one of the world's largest underwater viewing tunnels for guests to get up close to the sharks. SeaWorld's Shark Encounter has a variety of sharks including nurse sharks, zebra sharks, whitecap sharks, sand-tiger sharks and saw sharks. The Shark Encounter also includes educational shark displays where guests can learn different facts about sharks including behaviors, habitats and breeding.
SeaWorld also has a Sharks Underwater Grill dining experience where guests can eat a sit-down meal and watch the sharks swim by and Behind the Scenes Shark Tours are available.
SeaWorld is made up of several areas or seas as they are known. These sea areas are Port of Entry, Sea of Shallows, Sea of Legends, Sea of Ice, Sea of Delight, Sea of Mystery, Sea of Power, and Sesame Street Land.
SeaWorld Orlando also has a variety of coasters including Mako, Kraken, Manta, Ice Breaker, Super Grover's Box Car Derby and a brand new coaster Pipeline: The Surf Coaster which is a first-of-its-kind roller coaster due to open in spring 2023. We take a look at this coaster from many different angles in our walkthrough and take an up-close look at one of the coaster cars.
Also at this Florida theme park is the Shamu Stadium, home to SeaWorld Orlando's 5 killer whales. SeaWorld Orlando features a Dolphin Theatre, the Sea Lion and Otter Theater, Bayside Stadium, Nautilus Theatre and Seaport Theatre,
SeaWorld Orlando is a theme park and marine zoological park, in Orlando, Florida. It is owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. When combined with its neighbors Discovery Cove and Aquatica, it forms SeaWorld Parks and Resorts Orlando, an entertainment complex consisting of the three parks and many hotels.
SeaWorld Orlando opened on December 15, 1973 as the third SeaWorld park to open. SeaWorld Orlando has two sister parks, Discovery Cove which opened in 2000 and a water park, Aquatica which opened in 2008.
