I was having the same problem as well. Took the machine apart and basically gave it a first class detail, but still had the error. So, I did what my 2 year old would have done and picked it up and dropped it twice. Works like a charm now. FOR NOW 😂😂

I was in the same boat. I read this comment and I tried dropping it from a 2 years height a couple times, and it totally worked!!! No even joking. It's vacuuming as we speak. Thank you!

I kept receiving a persistent Error 2 even after thoroughly cleaning out everything I could possibly clean out, even under the wheel wells. I called Shark support & even though it was outside warranty they agreed to send me a new robot body where I just have to swap out the roller brush, whiskers, batter, & filter - all I had to pay for was shipping & handling, which was kind. I'll update once it gets here & let you know if it operates properly.

Funny, I talked to them last night, after trying for ~2 weeks for a solution and they told me I had to buy a new one. Lots of resistance on the right wheel, maybe the motor is bad. They did offer me 30% off. But not a new bot. Debating on my next step, or buying the All-State protection for ~$49 for 3 years.

Thank goodness I was about to throw it over the deck after cleaning everything but forgot the little piece on the roller that pops off. I also use a mini bottle brush cleaner for the big wheels :-)

How did you get the roller brush out when it was stuck? It normally pops right out but haven't cleaned it in a while and think the dog hair has jammed things up.

sometimes the dog hair keeps it wedges in there and you have to give it a little English to get it out

I’ve cleared all obstructions from the roller and the front wheel and I’m still getting the error 2! It’s driving me crazy!!

there is something there causing a problem, take the little plastic pieces on either side of the roller off and see if there is any hair there, there may be hair on the end of the roller you missed, I do an update video any time my vacuum acts up so subscribe to see those and have an awesome day

you probably still have a hair ball somewhere, may be a bad sensor though

I have sone it all and keep getting the code - how does your roller move - I’m wondering if it’s the gear that turns the roller brush that’s causing my issue? How would I fix that?

Mines is doing the same thing ,if your under warranty call they are sending me a new vacuum
