I just replaced my Henry with a Shark. I got the anti-hair wrap one which does work! My henry brush was constantly breaking due to hair. I like my shark so far but it's only been two weeks.

My hair constantly burnt out belts, it was hard to get them out. We solved the problem by installing hardwood flooring everywhere there was carpet, a bit extreme. We also keep shoes off in the house.

The shark duo clean corded vacuums are the best , it’s so much better on hard floors and it does well on carpets

I bought this same vacuum when it first came out. (I live in America). I used it one time and returned it. It was just too heavy and awkward to use. I exchanged it for the Shark Deluxe Pro Ultra light. It has been fabulous. It weighs maybe 8 pounds and goes easily under beds and furniture. Also, the attachments are great and very easy to use. The only downside would be that the "canister" is small. However I just empty it as I go and it hasn't been a problem. I've vacuumed saw dust and lots of other crafty things without any problems. Also, it's easy to use to clean the car. Maybe you could exchange it so you don't have to purchase another and have 2 vacuums.

Thank you so much for saving me about £200 as I was about to buy one. I will stick with my Hetty. I have two old Sharks which pick up dust so well, just like your first demo! But I won't upgrade to the lift away because of the problems with it you talked about.

I bought A Dyson animal, which was knacked in 24 Months. I told them and it was like, we don't Recognise( meaning my details) you. I thought to hell with this, I am not going with the hype. I bought it in my local Curry's retail park and have their cereal number to the machine. I saw a Shark and bought the same model, as in this demonstration and I have been really pleased ever since.

My mam has a shark and we had all the same problems bar the hair blocker thing. It’s so so heavy. It meant she had to buy a separate handheld hoover which isn’t ideal. But yes the suction is amazing!

Hi Debbie, nice to see you looking better luv, Stark do a machine now that somehow stops the hair blocking thing so maybe you may be able to exchange it, just a thought. I hope your family are all well and congrats on the new job, hope you settle well and enjoy it more than the last one, super vid by the way, are thinking about buying one and now am not sure as I don,t know anyone who has the new system one that stops the hair blocking but we are only thinking about buying one at the moment so will have to see, looking forward to seeing your next vid as always, keep safe.

My Shark Lift-Away outlasted the guarantee before the motor burned out! I suppose that's all you can expect these days. (20 months household use)

Oh no that’s awful! I wonder how long mine will last? I bought a workshop vac which I now use to vacuum the car, it’s so much easier 😊

I know this is an old review but I was looking to see if anybody has any other ideas about the roller not turning as I have done all of the obvious and more. I appreciated the fact that we both had the same model and even colour Shark and mine was also delivered in Lockdown. Now, I'm 70 so iv'e had my fair share of vacuum cleaners [not Hoover's as that is a make] and when Dyson finally got on the market I bought the DC1, and I had that for 25 YEARS. I would still be using it except a family member [as is usual in most people's lives] broke the long rigid plastic hose and as it was the first EVER Dyson I was unable to find a replacement anywhere, I was gutted. I bought another Dyson and gave it a way after a month and got the Shark as my Son has one. As for picking up from floors...if you adjust the suction button it works just fine, at least it does for me. The long cord...well you have a built in rotatable hook so there is no need for a tangled cord! When you finish start winding the cord from the Shark around the hooks until the plug arrives, it takes less that a minute so you can't blame Shark for that! If you are cleaning the stairs of course the main unit will tip over, it's a matter of physics but to stop it falling on someone and hurting them just make sure that back of the Shark is facing the stairs so it falls against the stairs plus I don't really understand when you say that you have to hold the take off unit when cleaning the stars as then you can only use one hand? Whatever cleaner I had I still only used one hand to clean the stairs. I'm assuming you are probably calling me an old bat or something worse by now and you are free to do so, just please know that I'm truly not trying to be bitchy but it annoys me when things are not actually wrong, it's the people using them. Henry was made as a small industrial cleaner so it will do everything that you want it to pretty much, that is why the cleaners in the hospitals only use Henrys and as I was a Nurse for many years asked why and that is what they told me. Shark is not any form of industrial cleaner so I think that yes, you were/are expecting too much of it. I look forward to viewing more of your reviews. I know, you are now screaming to your children 'how do I block this bloody woman'. Happy cleaning. 🤯👋👵

Did you buy a new Henry? I'm just about to buy a George as it looks like a good all in one but was also thinking shark but your great video has confirmed that I'm making the right decision I think of going with George hoover .

No I’ve still got my Shark but I bought a Titan wet/dry vacuum from Screwfix for the workshop. I also use it for the cars as it’s so much easier. I’ve got a George too and it’s fab xx

Cord should be longer and flexible as in the old hoover vacuum cleaners where it was very flexible cord . I don't know why manufacturers don't do this automatically, its a real bug bear , I mean cords are a huge pain to start with , but if it was a flexible one, it would be more acceptable. The suction is fantastic on it tho 👏

Can the wand handle go lower when it sits in the hoover; so it could be put in a low-height cabinet? It looks as if the handle could be lowered?
@LivinganOrganisedLife
@LivinganOrganisedLife 2 жыл бұрын
You take the handle off which would make it lower but otherwise it won’t adjust 🙂

Hi... Great review.. I agree with all you have to say about it... I am currently in dispute with Shark with regards to the clogging of the roller it's ridiculous how often it needs unclogged...even though it is sold as a pet model! I never had this problem with Dyson! Wish me luck! 😁😁😁

Hi new subscriber, I have the same problem as you and also have the same carpet, the problem I'm getting is after one sweep the red light comes on and the brush stops spinning. There are no blockages so I'm so frustrated about it after all it wasn't cheap was thinking its not for shaggy carpets? Now thinking about buying a new hoover again 🤔

Love this! My mum brought a similar shark hoover not too long ago with the hair wrap and hard floor adaption too, it’s definitely worth the extra cost !! We did the same thing with hoovering beforehand thinking the carpets were clean! We had such a similar reaction to yours when we saw all the dust come up in the new hoover😂 However the hoover is very heavy to handle and can be a lot if you’re doing a lot of cleaning. I agree with the lift away being very unsteady as well. Wish they made a better way to have it stand alone.

5 year warranty is a joke wanted the wand replacing as it spun round after 2 years use was told they could not replace this as it was wear and tear but would have replaced if they had not already replaced something else, can you imagine a car garage say oh we cannot replace this under warranty as you have already had something else done under your warranty This is the 4th issue ive had with this vacume after the first one caught fire so wont be buying another its only 28 months old ,customer service is rubbish girl on phone was ratting on and i struggled getting a word in edgeways, SHARK VACUMES YOUR FIRED !!!!!

I've got cordless Vax and is great but it has broke a couple of times and you have to clean it regularly so decided to go back to electric and get lift away shark. I only paid £100 for new one so hopefully does a job... You'll be lucky to get two years out of a cordless vacuum so it has put me off from buying anymore.... Big up from Scotland 👍👍👍. PS how many vacuum cleaner have you got 😅
