Shark NZ850UK vacuum cleaner - Performance Testing - [Destroy my brand new vacuum with me!]

This Shark NZ850UK vacuum cleaner is indeed a nice unit. However, due to the single cyclonic design I had to clean the pre motor filters multiple times.
The performance is good, not perfect as it did leave some grit behind. However, as long as the filters are maintained regularly, this vacuum is adequate enough!
The stair tool isn’t the nicest designed accessory, but the crevice tool is fantastic!
The duo clean design is by far the best thing ever for hard floors. It works okay on carpets, some suction can leak out the front roller as there isnt a seal, but the combination of the strong airflow and brushroll makes this a capable machine.

I switched to a Sebo Felix and haven't looked back. I still have the Original Shark Navigator. It works to this day and I've never had a problem. What I don't like is the poor cyclonic technology. Filters get dirty easily and the bin itself gets really dirty and nasty. On my Sebo I just take the bag and swap for a new one. No taking the whole vacuum apart to clean it

Can you recommend a vacuum for picking up long hair? A family member has waist-length hair and it always tangles up the vacuum. We also have two cats. Any help is appreciated.

I would go with a Dyson Ball Animal with anti tangle comb, they work better at keeping the brushbars clean of any hair compared to Sharks and pick up hair very well Alternatively, a Dyson V15 cordless is also a great choice

Sebo Felix or X7 for a solid heavy duty vacuum that cleans well Dyson ball animal for homes with all floors, thick carpets and they’re great all rounders Vax air stretch as a powerful budget vac Numatic Henry for a cylinder vacuum Dyson V8 for a decent cordless vacuum

I much prefer uprights due to their stronger ability to deep clean carpets, the new ball animal models can clean hard floors just as well as a cylinder too!
