Infact many trading communities like gujarathis and marwaris came to pune during era of peshwas to work as traders (since maharashtra dosnt have its own business community ) have seamlessly assimilated in cities culture and have greatly prospered . Even gujarathi people take pride in parsis who are basically migrants from Iran coz they adopted the gujarathi language despite culturally they are way different from all hindu cultures If you know adar poonawala the leader of the serum institute of technology just see his surname poonawala basically it tells he migrated to pune a long time ago and prospered well in the city.

@@k66250 अगोदर तुमचा नयुनगंड दुर करा. मला पण एक भारतीय म्हणून कोणत्याही कर्तबगार व्यक्तीचा आदर, कौतुक वाटते. पण एखादी परप्रांतीय व्यक्ती निव्वळ मराठी बोलते म्हणून भारावून जाणारया पण महाराष्ट्रातील च वेगळ्या भागातील वेगळ्या टोन मध्ये मराठी बोलणारया माणसांना तुच्छ समजतात तेंव्हा अशा चाटु लोकांची कीव येते. किंवा fluently English बोलणारया मराठी माणसांचा मराठी माणसं हिणवतात व त्यांना मराठी मधूनच बोला असा आग्रह करतात हा नयुनगंड आहे. यामुळे तुम्ही सुध्दा व कोणीही थोडी मराठी बोललं तरी लगेच भारावून जाण सोडा.मी मराठी आहे व वेगवेगळ्या राज्यांमध्ये नोकरी केली आहे यामुळे कोशात कोण आहे ते ठरव मित्रा. कोणाच्या भाषेवरून मी हुरळून जात नाही. ग्राम्य मराठी बोलणारे पण खूप कर्तबगार माणसे मी पाहिले आहेत पण त्यांना ग्राम्य भाषेमुळे हसणारे मराठी माणसं पण पाहिली आहेत.
