I don't drink so I don't know how does it taste but I have heard it's really popular. Problem with us is that Indians look down upon our own tradition as if it's something shameful thing to do. Deep down we enjoy our tradition alone but fail to accept and enjoy it in public. That's our HYPOCRISY.

there is no hypocrisy here. Feni is popular yes, but not everyone enjoys it. Even I didnt like it. There is no comparison to a single-malt whisky, or a scotch. However, i agree, we should save our dying crafts and native spirits. The Portuguese took a fancy to it, so it survived this long.
