Especially Mark and Lori for only 10%, lol people that drag it out over differences of 5% or less are stupid, even if your company's worth 100 million without a shark, 5% is 5 million - relatively a lot of money sure, but Mark and Lori could probably easily increase that company to being worth 150 million, if not 300+ million. even if it's just an increase from 100 million to 120 million, that's still around 4 times more than the 5 million, plus probably having having a lot of the marketing, negotiating work, asset funding, etc done for you

@@janayachapman7030 Yes I understand that. The sharks were even saying it tastes *just like* the real thing, notably the Brie. It just really irks me when people claim “it’s real”, but it isn’t. *Real* cheese is made with milk. At the beginning they were saying “It’s real cheese” then they said “Made with plants” lol I just don’t trust it when people do that. Probably just irks me because there are so many plant based products out there that say the same thing but are awful. I’ve been burned too many times. It’s ok to say “Plant based cheese” but adding on “REAL” isn’t genuine and seems scammy to me. I dk that’s just my thought process. I get that it helps folks with IBS and stuff but when they say “it’s real”? That just thwarts me. Like I said, if they had said “Plant based cheese that tastes *just like the real thing*” I’d respect and trust the product and them even more. But they didn’t and I was like “eh..no” lol

I think the people who want to give away a tiny percentage to "protect" their other investors are not seeing it the right way. That would be fine if they didn't expect the sharks to force multiply their business, but they do. You aren't just asking them for money so YOU can go to work for THEM making THEM money. You expect them to use their connectitons and name value to quickly scale your business.

It's extremely expensive to develop these things. 1800 is only the material cost. Doesn't include the cost of r&d, marketing, hiring people (in this field you need highly educated people, 6 figure salaries). If you compare it to other prosthetic hands in the market it's a lot cheaper. Plus it's under medicare.

Especially Mark and Lori for only 10%, lol people that drag it out over differences of 5% or less are stupid, even if your company's worth 100 million without a shark, 5% is 5 million - relatively a lot of money sure, but Mark and Lori could probably easily increase that company to being worth 150 million, if not 300+ million. even if it's just an increase from 100 million to 120 million, that's still 4 times more than the 5 million, plus probably having having a lot of the marketing, negotiating work, asset funding, etc done for you

@@nanaman No. It's competition that does. Even if 10m buyers are out there per year, as long as its one manufacturer, that monopoly will give them excessive privileges. Only through competition that lower price of goods can be achieved.

The prices are that high because insurance covers it. Americans need affordable healthcare. Also, pretty sure that curing other ailments, surgery etc costs way more than 15k.

I want to try this so bad. I've been vegan for 22 yrs and i've never tried a lot of those fancy real cheeses. So i'd like to be able to try the vegan version 😁 they are expensive holy crap. Maybe after holiday expenses are done. Wish i could get some overtime at work. Lol

Someone should tell mark that the veterans administration is never going to spend that amount for a prosthetic hand for any veteran. They believe scaled down is better and less is better for veterans.
