My father in-law got me this for Christmas. I freaking love it. My wife and I live in a 1000 sq ft condo with 2 cats and a dog. Something about being able to vacuum and immediately mop up after is just spectacular. I think our broom is retired now. I daily clean the litter on the floor and other strange things so quickly and effortlessly. Our very strong but heavy vacuum went from being used 3 times a week to maybe once because doing minor cleaning daily has kept my floors in pristine condition since Christmas.

I just purchased this and I love it!!! One step floor cleaning. I justify the toss away pads because I don't have a house cleaner:) This litte vacuum is very powerful and picks up everything. I doubt there will ever be a reusable/washable pad for this broom because of the little plastic container on each pad that holds the debris. Very satisfying when you look in and see all the stuff it picked up on your floor, then see all the dirt the pad picked up as well. Worth every penny, and it wasn't even that many pennies.......$70 bucks!

This is a godsend for bathrooms for families with hairy men! And my own hair falls off in clumps as I brush it. I do not want to pick up so much hair all the time with paper towels every time I brush my hair nor do I want to drag a vacuum up the toilets all the time. I don't want to buy an expensive lightweight cordless hardwood floor vacuum solely for this purpose. And I found this! Your review convinced me that it's the perfect product for this weird problem. Now I can easily clean my bathrooms and even do daily mops and vacuum of my falling hair since it just lives in my main bathroom. I do not like that it has reusable pads. But since it's just doing touch up daily clean, the pad has been holding well for a week. I can't believe that it can suck up long hair. Amazing.

I used the regular vacmop for a couple of days. I have to say, it's a well made UL listed home cleaning appliance that does exactly what it says it does, no more and no less. The Shark solution is also UL greenguard gold certified. I've been in the flooring industry for a few years now, and those types of certifications give me a lot of confidence when it comes to product safety. The vacuum performance kind of shocked me honestly. Much better than I expected it to be just looking at it. The wet performance is nearly identical to that of a Swiffer wet jet. My opinion mirrors that of the video. Well made, and worth the $100 for smaller areas. I'd look at separate washing and vacuuming solutions for larger areas, however.
@nunyabidness18523 жыл бұрын
I agree about the vacuuming. I pulled this little 15 lb unit or whatever out-of-the-box I'm starting to get a little bit skeptical and then I put that trigger and I was astounded. It was a refreshing surprise
@effpea88824 жыл бұрын
I just used mine for the first time, and one thing that occurred to me is that it can only vacuum up dirt on the forward stroke, into it's front intake. If you draw it back diagonally, you will just push the adjacent dust / debris around. I'm relating it to using a lawnmower where cutting occurs in both directions. Need to adapt myself to this difference. For mopping, not an issue obviously. Also, I would prefer a power switch that doesn't need to be held down, even given the fact that the battery provides a runtime of less than 13 minutes before recharging is needed. 3.5 hours to charge back up seems like a lot. The charger is smaller than I would have expected, about the size of a cellphone charger. Finally, I tried shaking debris back out of the chamber in the pad into a garbage can (to extend usable life) but the design doesn't allow for that.

I bought this mop 2-3 week ago but just used it today. I really wanted to get the Bissel Crosswave, but it’s about $110 more. The Shark VacMop was about $80 plus tax. I like the fact it’s so lightweight and cordless. I was using the floor attachment of my Shark Rotator Professional vacuum, which is heavy with a heavy cord. Using it was a deterrent to having clean floor, The Vac mop made cleaning my hard floors so much easier. The author of the video was right. Less solution is better and cleans well. I vacuumed first and because my floors were so dirty, I used 1 pad to vacuum and three to mop. Since the VacMop is so easy to use, I can clean my floors once a week to keep them looking better.

It works well for as long as it works. I have two of these (make that three if you count the replacement they sent me when the first one broke after 9 months). I certainly don't use them a lot, maybe 2-3 times per week. the problem is the pivots at the bottom where the handle and tank join the vacuum head. very cheap plastic that tends to break over time. happened again yesterday to one that I've had for two years and use once every 2-3 weeks (it's at a getaway house). Talked to Shark, who basically said it's out of warranty after a year, and too bad. was going to throw it away, but decided to play with it, so I drilled a couple holes in the plastic and ran a tie wrap through them and over the pivot, which seems to be holding it in place. We will see how long that lasts. I wouldn't recommend it, unless you don't mind buying a new on every year. I'm going to look for something more durable

What type of flooring is your wood colored hard floor? I have bought this vacuum and it works really well. I would say that it is a little hard to push when the pad is wet. My only complaint about this product is the pads. Having to change out the pads is not very economical. You can get by with using the same pads without mopping few a few times.

@@CPT.Ventis a lot of people have said that their shark robot self emptying sucked and not in the good way. I have a theory that if he bashes shark too hard they may no longer ask him for consulting work

I know one thing; this is one of the “hidden gems” from Shark. VacWars couldn’t dump on this one if he tried. The suction is surprising; it is a no clean the machine option with its throw away pads. Just super handy, quick, and clean.
