Agree with every comment on here. Unbelievably ahead of it's time and this gets in my top ten tracks of all time ❤

I stand by a statement I made many years ago this is EASILY the most well structured and amazing piece of music ever produced in any hard dance genre. I had the pleasure of playing on the same night as Sharkey a couple of times. an absolute legend and this was groundbreaking when I 1st heard it and its almost reduced me to tears now absolutely fucking beautiful track.

I remember buying this on vinyl when I was 14 during my hardcore years. In hindsight most of the music I was buying back then was awful but I remember this blowing me away.

One of the finest tracks ever laid! I used to listen to this all the time back in the day, and the album was awsome. I once played this whilst watching the sun rise over the coast. A life changing experience!

In my opinion this is the finest Hardcore track EVER produced. It has it all. Sharkey was waaaaay ahead of his time with this track. I was taken on a journey from my early teens through to my late twenties and this (along with many others) was the soundtrack...but that remix has a special place in my heart. Rinsin!

i'm out about to gather the strong the best way to describe the UK/US (commonwealth nations). is that it is a ship (corporation) the establishment are the crew officials and the voters (human employees/slaves) are its rowers.. the rowers that play up end up getting put in the holding cell (jail time) and the non-voters (rebels) are the rats scurrying around on their ship getting exterminated where they can get them I'm the man going around this corporate ship looking to take those worthy enough off of that ship and sail our own righteous ship instead this righteous ship (to which the lord will give us) will sail with our Lord god watching over us and policing ourselves as we should in his eyes (todays writings are not originals but they do still contain some top notch commandments that i hands down before the Lord agree with) not only from within the ship.. but from outside vessels looking to sink our ship or even capture it however instead of it being called a ship... it'll be a kingdom on the land surrounded by nations (other vessels) kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6vFlHirqJaAmNU proverbs 14 2Whoever walks in uprightness fears the LORD, but he who is devious in his ways despises him. 11The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish. 28In a multitude of people is the glory of a king, but without people a prince is ruined. May the Lord god bless those of us (house of israel) and not all

Epic!! No other word for it. Well ahead of it's time as is the whole 'Hard Life' album. Sharkey epitomises Freeform and it's a shame he's now retired!

He's not retired at all
@DigitalPrinciples10 жыл бұрын
Yep - he's still playing out from time to time. Saw him DJ and MC at at a classic happy hardcore night in Vauxhall on Saturday (18th Oct). He played a classic trancecore/freeform set which was absolutely banging. Still a great MC too.

Thanks DJ Capture. I was an MC for 10 years so have thousands of tracks in my library. It's a case of either running upstairs to get them, or listening to youtube and sitting on my arse! Sod running! I love Hardcore, and have listened non stop since the early 90's when the likes of Slipmatt, Lime, Prodigy and Ratpack were tearing up the scene! I have worked with a few legends, including Sharkey, Hixxy, Sy, Storm, MC Junior to list a few.

I just love the way he plays with tempo. One minute its fast then its slow then its a mix of both!! He has talent. The melodies, the layering, its all just incredible! More of the same please Mr Sharkey:))) Try Asscending Angels also from Sharkey. Its even better in my humble opinion!!
