I think Clorinde’s F2P friendliness is better than you made it out to be. For Aggravate the only 5 star you need is Kazuha, and even then you could use sucrose instead. Since she self-heals you can even use Dendro MC, and as you said, Fischl and Beidou are in the starglitter shop. She’ll want Furina in quickbloom, but I don’t think that’ll be her go-to team for most people since Clorinde is a pure attack scaler.

Yeah true, she also has a significant overlap with Keqing where the bond of life is the only difference. From my perspective who has a tripple-crowned Keqing, they are both the same.

She also can work with yao yao, and its only a net benefit cause she just converts it to bond of life anyway. Nahida is great but she isn't required to play clorinde.

@@Asheriancommand I would always recommend Dendro MC over Yao Yao for Clorinde since DMCs personal damage is actually really good, and he provides a little bit of DMG% and EM buffing on top of that. With the sapwood blade thrown in they’re providing 180 EM to Clorinde.

Furina is good with Clorinde cause she still buffs her raw damage but the problem with playing quickbloom is that you NEED Nahida or else your just not gonna have enough dendro application

Basically: Unless you want to specifically pull for another character, get Furina. Always pull for the characters you like. But if none of the others are a "must pull" for you, then get Furina. The amount of viable teams you will be able to make will effectively double just by adding her as a character for you (no matter how many characters you currently do or don't have). And she can walk on water indefinitely, which is remarkably useful, especially if you haven't already cleared all content prior to Fontaine.

I already decided that I’m going for Alhaitham and Furina but watched mainly to learn about how to use them in a nutshell and tbh I’m a bit intimidated by the rotations since I usually scramble around aimlessly (my only current main dps is Neuvillette so I get away with it). I’ll look into it and I think it will be ultimately fun to learn and develop the muscle memory to do it but this kind of stuff does not come easy for me.

Me too. After reading about his rotations which must be executed tightly, I am out. I want to just hit freely. I got Cholinda on my saved guarantee and decided to save my 50/50 for Funina. Btw, I skip Arl due to her complex BoL, and BoL of Clorinde is very simple, probably will be the only, the only BoL I can have fun with.

With Chlorinde, I repeat 'skill then 3 normal' until the end of it (about 3 or 4 repetitions), use burst. Well, The quick routine of Chlorinde can be boring to some skillful players.

Fine choices :) Alhaitham = third best DPS in the game (after Neuvillette and Arlecchino). Furina is basically Bennett + Kokomi, she's cracked.

Alhaitham is much better than her in aggravate, quickbloom and hyperbloom. Much much better. After Alhaitham, it'd Cyno then maybe Keqing. Clorinde is nowhere near their levels.

The answer is Furina but honestly i see her best utilized for later game players. Immediate impact strongest would be Al. I personally love clorindes design and personality, decided i wanted to save for her the moment i saw her, but am a bit disappointed that her damage overall doesnt seem on par with the other fontainians. I dont mind picking a more niche obscure character to stan and maybe main but wish her utility was a little more realised.

Her kit isn't bad. It's actually really good. It's just the Furina cult and the people who don't see a point in healers down play her usefulness to the level of Qiqi. She's an amazing healer and probably one of, if not the best at it because she doesn't limit you to a circle and her hydro application wont be enough to harm any teams. She heals way more than most people will ever need and her field time is only about 2 seconds. Most content creators and people in comment sections make her seem really bad but she's not. If you want to pull for her, do it.

Good analysis as always Shark. My personal recommendations are similar to yours: Alhaitham and Furina. 1. Furina is absolutely cracked. She consolidates so many roles, it's hard to think of a team that Furina would help - overworld she heals and walks on water, and buffs and applies hydro off-field. I don't think anyone else has so much team flexibility. Many argue she is literally the BEST character in the game. IF YOU NEED A DPS... 2. Alhaitham is arguably the third strongest DPS in the game (after Neuvillette (#1) and Arlecchino (#2)). Yes, DPSs come and go, but Alhaitham just hits so darn hard, especially in a hyperbloom team (Nahida, Kuki Shinobu, Hydro Flex). Highly recommended. Chlorinde and Sigewinne are brand new, so I'd wait 1-2 weeks from their releases to see how they shake out before you pull. - Chlorinde is hard to recommend if you already have Raiden, Yae Miko, Fischl, and Kuki Shinobu (who are already great electros). She might be "better" Cyno, but I'll wait and see. - Sigewinne might be a good alternative to Kokomi, but I already have Kokomi, so I'll wait and see.

hi, im just returning in July. i missed Clorinde and chiori , tho i was able to get navia this year. I am confused with bond of life skills, as i am a simple smash character like Diluc and Navia. :D Im still in Sumeru with many world quests to do. Is it better to wait for characters without bond of life that will be in natlan? As for my team my only dps are Diluc and Ayato with fischal, zhongli and kokomi. I dont know what type of characters i should invest into the future, as it looks to be getting more complicated. Should i wait to see what the next 3 heroes will bring? Thank you ❤

i’ve been farming for alhaitham since I first met him in sumeru. he’s my FAVOURITE character in the whole game except for neuvillette. that and i’ve adored sigwienne since I met her in meropide. im guaranteed alhaitham thank goodness, and i have 132 wishes for him, his weapon, and sigwienne. if im lucky her weapon too! UPDATE: i got haitham and his weapon with 35 wishes and 3k primos leftover. hopefully i get an early on sigwienne!

for me personally I'm a maxed out endgame player and playing since 1.4 patch...dont care about meta as i already have characters that clear everything lol kazuha, zhongli, hutao, furina, nahida, nilou, ayaka, yelan, eula, Mona (my favorite five stars) and ofc the four stars that litterally everyone uses like bennett, sucrose, xiangling, xingqiu, diona, fischl, beidou etc, i clear everything in the game with those units so dont care for any five stars this patch. That being said, I like collecting the small characters to use in open world and just use cause i think they're cute. So i am getting sigewinne. After i get sigewinne im saving for the natlan characters.

I am more tempted to get Furina's c2, I know its not necessary, but she's my favorite character, but then again, don't have a good cryo and geo DPS and I plan to get them since I already have so many supports with me already.

Her C2 feels like cheating. You don't need it but it's super fun.

​@@ANoobInvoidHer C1 and C2 combined give you even more Fanfare stacks and basically let you max her burst bonus right away, allow her to max them even with a single target healer and give her pets even more damage. There are many videos about C0, C1 and C2 comparisons but honestly I suggest you watching The Genshin Scientist video made about her constellations. And yes, Furina has among the best cons in the game, along with C2 Nahida, C1 Neuvillette, Yelan, etc. Hope It helps.

This helped solidify Furina over Alhaitham for me! I main Gaming and Furina is one of his best teammates (although the reverse isn't true)

im gonna pull for alhaitham and sigewinne, at first i wanted to pull alhaitham on my main and if i dont get him then ill keep pulling but on sigewinnes banner but i changed my mind ill go for sigewinne on my main then alhaitham on my alt, i prefer sigewinnes gameplay but still love her design compared to alhaitham which i sorta only love his character and design (character as in voice and personality) and not a crazy fan of his gameplay, i dont hate it but it doesnt look as fun as sigewinnes which is the most important thing to think of when pulling for a character

Definitely Furina, not only is she excellent for combat, she's the only character that can endlessly walk on water. She made my exploration of Inazuma so much easier that I'll switch my teams every time I need to go back there. Gone are the days of suffering through ice bridges once you have Furina ❤

U can clear this game with any character u like,so always choose someone u like. Keep in mind that u wont be a beginner for too long! If ure asking for an opinion about the upcoming banners: Alhaitham has amazing damage potential but complicated rotations for a beginner, and dendro reactions aren't very beginner friendly unless u are willing to learn a lot about reactions right away, and he's a dendro driver dps. So just be mindful if u want him..he is smart so he likes people who use him to use their brains too x the others... Sigewinne isnt the most useful in my opinion (obviously if u like her get her!), clorinde also has things in her kit you would NEED to learn before u decide if u want her (bond of life scalings etc) so ig Furina is the most beginner friendly. She is very easy to build and also f2p friendly, also great for endgame too. The only thing about her is she drains ur teams hp so u would need to play her with a healer but everyone has barbara. She will make exploration easier and shes super strong if u like her dont hesitate Now if ure asking about all characters in general, the most beginner friendly 5* in my opinion: Supports: zhongli,kazuha,xianyun,nahida Dps: childe,ganyu,navia Sub dps: yelan,chiori,furina,raiden This is just my opinion to a beginner🎉 (Veteran players just can do anyone or anything)

sigh i'm an f2p who saved 35k primos, i've wanted clorinde since i first saw her AND the only 2 other released 5 stars i wanted are alhaitham and furina. this patch was literally out to get me... i spent 150 pulls just to get clorinde since the first clorinde i got was electro but looked different. then i somehow got alhaitham, and then realized i don't have a single good sword so i pulled 30 times and got lofi. furina i'm sorry 😭😭

I managed to get Furina but now I feel so weak. Every fight leaves me with 50% health and then the next fight basically has it so much easier to kill me

I just got her on her first hour of rerun, always remember to switch her arkhe alignment, that’s why we have a dps-sub dps, If your current character hp is low then change furina to healer for about 3-5 secs then change her to dps type again. you will be very vulnerable if you only keep her on her ousia type.

I would say get new character as there's going to be a new abyss mode (imaginarim something) you will need more character. And more character you have more team comps you can play but be mindful you will also have to build them

I’d say more characters - there are so many situations that are best for different characters But also because different playstyles suit different people so you really never know who you end up wanting to play in my experience

@@ojn4972Bennett has a deceptive amount of vertical range to his elemental skill. Hold the elemental skill button down for so long that his sword lights up twice (2 to 3 seconds? it’s quite long). When you release, the attack will cause an explosion that will blast Bennett backwards, and that explosion is usually big enough to hit a flying enemy. Also in early game, give as much energy recharge items to Bennett as you can: 3* and 4* Exile artifacts, the 3* skyrider sword if you can’t craft the 4* sapwood blade, any any random artifact with energy recharge listed as the stats.

@studiesinflux1304 super helpful!!! I have a Skyrider too. So, ill focus on recharge and atk% for now. Until i learn how to bettet use him. He's sitting at level 0 at the moment. Im going to level him up to match my party and see how it goes.

I would recommend furina as she will elevate your entire account not just 1 or 2 teams. And kokomi is probably not coming in 4.8 and natlan will drop in 5.0 so you will have new region to farm primos + events and stuff

As much as I love Clorinde's design, I have my savings for guaranteed Furina, so... she'll take priority (I am only 1 Furina and 1 Venti away from my initial goal playing the game of collecting all the archons. TT_TT).

I pulled for Alhaitham before watching this and now i regret, however i think i will wait with using Alhaitham until i get Raiden, she was my first choice and i only pulled for Alhaitham because he would be my 2nd dendro character

I was somewhat disappointed by Sigewinne. Expected her to be a BoL-focused support for Clorinde and Arlecchino, but got some weird healer that kinda wants to take up field time and deal damage, treats BoL as more of an afterthought, and overall has a (subjectively) uninteresting and wacky kit. She does have good synergy with Clorinde, but ultimately ends up just being a somewhat generic although powerful healer that's gonna be used with Furina and not much else. I'd expect a Clorinde, Nahida, Furina, Sigewinne team popping up fairly often.
