Save your money!! Glad yours worked! mine died after 4 uses. All you get through product support is next to nothing, they won't admit that their product failed. I got told that my WIFI magically turned on "client isolation". I then took the open spot to 6 friends houses and got same lights that again support told me that was because of client isolation, even though while at 1 friends house I helped him put up 6 wireless cameras that were on this router that my open spot wouldn't talk to. Huh? Lastly I dug out my 4G cellular hot spot that the open spot was last mated to last June but surprise! Same lights telling me, according to support that I had client isolation enabled on my hot spot. I called the cellular company and surprise you can't turn it on in their hot spot!! SAVE YOUR MONEY, IF IT FAILS BE READY FOR HOURS AND I MEAN HOURS OF FRUSTRATION BEFORE YOU FINALLY THROW IN THE TOWEL.

Thanks for showing the OpenSpot3 It looks like it is the way to go. Now all I need to do is get a degree in computer science . Looks very confusing.

I have a Alinco DJ-MD5X DMR HT, nice and Small, smaller than the Any Tone, with the Open Spot 4 is a really good Portable Combo,

No, it does support NXDN and P25 but not necessarily cross mode with these modes, but I think it's now possible with NXDN. 73

To the question what is the best digital modes I would go with FT8, RTTY, PSK31 and so on. Hahaha was surprised this was for VHF/UHF/SHF digital FM modes HiHi. Still a good clip. Keep it going. 73

I have worked at least 25 hours, tried factory reset, tried a firmare update. When I try to connect on the computer it sends me to msn. Why recommend such a difficult hotspot to setup. I have set up pi-star on many different modes it works. What can I do to not go bald from pulling my hair out.

The open spot 3 will not trans code with the codec on p25 to system fusion or visa versa. P25 to fusion uses software only. The only radio that will cross mode on all the modes is system fusion Radio!

That's very interesting to know. That means the only extra mode it gives you access to, assuming you have a DMR, Fusion or NXDN radio already, is D-STAR. A mode that is falling out of fashion these days anyway.

True, they say all modes but I concentrated on DMR, Dstar and C4FM, the 3 most popular. In the video, you can see in the settings tab in advanced mode the crossmode possibilities in the audio adjustment and P25 is not there. 73
