Why do people continually play Swordsoul with a slew of low impact hand traps? I keep seeing people lose games just from not being able to get started and it’s because their deck is over diluted with not just handtraps but low impact handtraps. Maybe I’m just talking anecdotal evidence but it’s something I’ve noticed recently.
@TheJunkerOne3 жыл бұрын
You need a good bunch of going 2nd cards in order to not instalose when you lose the dice roll and veiler imperm ash and droplet are just the most generic handtraps. Going hard in specific high impact HT into the ladder where you don't know what are you gonna play against seems like a pretty bad idea to me.
@ActivateMysticMine3 жыл бұрын
@@TheJunkerOne it’s high rated DB it’s not like you’re grinding against 300 ratings playing Six Sam. You would be behooved to play high impact handtraps at these ratings than not. Plus it gets you in the appropriate mindset for large events now that they are returning as well. I’m not saying to forgo going second cards but specifically not to overly dilute your deck with specifically low impact handtraps. Droplet is flexible, Imperm is flexible, and veiler is just one of the best handtraps right now. But stuff like Ash, Belle, Crow, Meister, and other stuff that just trades one-for-one is costing Swordsoul players that I’ve watched so many games cuz they can’t get started. When you play tons of low impact going second cards or cards that aren’t flexible AND play a large tenyi count you make the potential for not playing so much higher just because of deck building.
