I told my sister that the pallets were under water and extremely muddy. Let's just say it blew her mind. Great video.

UGH!!Your gonna have to sell all those boards to pay your water bill. Lol
@sharkscrapper21 күн бұрын
I may be a little lucky on that one. The city hasn't charged us for water since the hurricane came through. Not sure when they'll resume billing again. They've been encouraging everyone to use water so the chemicals they add to reduce lead buildup can get circulated through the system. Sure hope I don't get anymore of these but hard to turn down a pallet load servers.

Need a shop vac for when you crack them open suck up all you can that way.. Then boards still coated drop in a rubermade tub full of water with a bit of soap to soak off the rest of the mud. Just an idea

Shop vac is standing by at the ready 🤣 I need to see if any of my plastic bins will still hold water, they've had some rough lives. I like the wash basin idea.

@sharkscrapper I wish that I was able to, right now it's not in the cards. I would buy your connector end or just buy the wire with the ends and process the ends and then sell the wires to my yard lol. Take care

Though i dont like them ive found the fastest way to get through a power supply is with my hammer a wide gasket scraper and a back support to keep it from moving around. I can strip one in less than 15 min now.the aluminum is sheet or sheet the big transformers go into electric motors the wire is insulated so far i may strip it.

I cut a piece of angle from a bed frame and screwed it to my bench. It helps so much for bracing stuff.

Use an empty pc shell for all the small bits :)
@sharkscrapper21 күн бұрын
I always stuff the empty shells with smalls before I head to the yard. But I need a bin next to the work bench to make processing faster. An empty PC shell doesn't work for that as the screws and stuff keep falling out. I used to use old mail boxes from a mail box repair person I had as a client. For now a trashcan will have to do.

If I have missed the answer to my question in other videos I’m sorry. Will you be doing any street / trash picking?
@sharkscrapper21 күн бұрын
No street scrapping here. Several reasons I'll not be doing that here. The three main reasons are; they don't have regular bulk pick up days, the roads are very narrow, and I intend to focus on electronic scrap.
@jwall600621 күн бұрын
Why are you doing this inside the shark cage. Maybe drag them to the back door, strip the parts and as much mud as possible outside. Then come back and sort the parts. As a grandma of 2 little boys, the words, “take it outside, make a mess out there.” Has been said a lot.
