It’s a good point. I think everyone that goes on this show understands that. Plus the exposure from the episode and the KZbin views and the repeats. Plus the partnership possibilities of course. I hope they all understand all of those things. I think they do. I’m not even smart and I kinda get it.

It means that I give your company $200K and then I own 42% of the company.

@@slycordinator For a lifetime or a year? For example, if I take 200K from you and increase the company’s revenue to $ 20million a year later, will I give you 42% at once or return 200K?
@slycordinator3 жыл бұрын
@@User-df3bp "For a lifetime or a year?" Until someone were to pay me for the portion that I own. Or until such time where I were to do the same, paying someone for their portion to increase mine. "increase the company’s revenue to $ 20million a year later, will I give you 42% at once or return 200K?" The 42% isn't of the revenue, but of the business/company. The assets are 42% mine. The liabilities are 42% mine. Everything is 42% mine. And the $200K isn't returned. The $200K isn't a loan and especially isn't one with a 0% interest.
@User-df3bp3 жыл бұрын
@@slycordinator Oh thank you, I don't know much about that. So, if I understand correctly, 42% is not income but total value (equipment, appliances and other property) I wonder one more thing. Will the investor stay with me forever? How to "get rid" of it? So I should give him 42% of the money, right?
@slycordinator3 жыл бұрын
@@User-df3bp The way you would "get rid of" an investor is by buying out their portion of the business. But depending on how much that person's expertise adds to the company/business, getting rid of them could be a bad idea, even if without them you get a bigger piece of the pie.

if the first guys patent was about retractable audio cable for headphones yeah that is a no brainer licensing play. you could license that to any number of headphone brands.
@birdgvee49822 жыл бұрын
I agree on wireless headphones not being always reliable. I have jaybirds X3s and I looooove them - but they work very well with my ipad, not so good with my android. the bluetooth connection just sometimes ads a weird pop? and I can basically forget them on my PC because for some reason I cannot find a good bluetooth stick for that one (it doesn't have it built in) and the connection keeps breaking off. not to mention: they can only be connected to 2 devices at the time - so if it's paired with say, your pc and phone - you have to disconnect it in those devices before you can connect to the 3rd device. if you're in a hurry, it can be more than annoying. so were I a performer that needs to move between different stations quicly, - well, plugging them in with a cable can be more reliable and faster, especially if you are in a place where it isn't your own devices and Bluetooth pairing might not be allowed.
@opcpixie2 жыл бұрын
Same. I've bought multiple pair and none of them lasted longer than a year. Well, over ear headphones 🎧 In-ear, I have about 3 pair, including Samsung Galaxy 2 buds, all of the in-ear I received for free, however I rarely use them so they're all still working. Still, because they don't stay in my ear easily and hassle-free, they're basically obsolete to me as I can't use them. If I could, I have no doubt that they wouldn't last more than a year either.

A lot of people can tune out noises. I had 4 kids in puberty at the same time - my ears learned to pick and choose what to listen for... The rest of the noise didn't exist. Have you ever tried leaning over, giving her a romantic kiss, buckling her in, saying how much you love her? How much you want to grow old with her for a long long time? Cuz seat belts save lives? You Probably have -she's not wearing a seatbelt. 😐 Perhaps find a sound that will annoy her: a crying screaming baby? Fingernails on a chalkboard? A foghorn? Ankle-biter dog barking incessantly? Or maybe the sound of someone passing gas! Then perhaps it'll work on stubborn folks 😁
