And succeeded too, thinking anyone with half a braincell would take his offer over Kevin's better offer... I realize there's a perpetual royalty but it's 20% after the $80K is returned. Keeping 80% of $10 million is still $8 million so the kids are still going to get their bank. You know Kevin is going to do whatever he has to do to help the business grow because he benefits from that too. 🙂

Kevin's deal is only a percentage of the licensing deal, not in the actual company, right? His offer was clearly better, they made the right choice.

kevin’s was the better deal but not for the reason you stated. He’s saying if and only if the licensing deal goes through he will give him 80k, for 50% of the COMPANY until he recoups 80k. then 20% from then on. Damien is 80k no matter what for 25% even if they can’t license it. that’s why they had the 30 sec convo about it being “contingent”/success based.
