Regardless of wether or not he still gets royalties, if that company really is worth around 100 million, he made great returns on that 75k investment.

Update or Wicked Cupcakes: A big company called Hickory Farms bought out Wicked Cupcakes for an undisclosed amouny which means a lot of money. The mom said she watched her daughter become a millionaire after the sale to Hickory Farms and Kevin O'leary made over a million dollars in royalties. In the end, it was a smart decision to take Kevin's deal.
