This is what I’m saying. My oldest brother is over 20 years older than me at 46. And he’s been with his wife since they were both 15. I agree. I think when you are growing and maturing you are going through the process of psychological separation from your mother (gaining independence, autonomy, developing your own identity). As a result, your mother is no longer your most important focus in your life (as it was in childhood), you focus more on creating your own family and providing for your own family. You are not attached to your mother that much (although you may still love her and appreciate her very much). I think that if a man is always spending time with his mother/asking her for advice/depending on her too much - that may be a bad sign, he might be too attached to her.

This is why I LOVE and RESPECT Chunkz so much. He understands in islam the importance of your wife, and how she should come first in terms of RESPONSIBILITY. Because your mum is always going to have her own place but she is your fathers responsibility. Me personally, i’m not going to live my life catering to my mother when I have a wife and kids to take care of it. I’m also not going to live with a fear mindset that my wife *may* leave me. If you have any doubts about your relationship maybe you should address that before you get married. All this is not to say your mother becomes unimportant, she simply isn’t the first priority. Sharky is really my favorite, he’s the only reason I started watching beta squad 😂 SDS was getting heavily suggested in my recommended till one day I clicked on it and I was hooked. Haven’t missed a episode since 2022 and I went back and watched the ones before that. Sharky’s hosting skills are on point and his personality always shines through. So then I see a Beta Squad video in my recommended and I’m like “oh shit, that’s Sharky in it” so I click and yea I start watching Beta Squad. It’s also dope to see how Sharky gave all the SDS guys the platform to shine on their own, got guys on Sky Sports and collaborating with premier league clubs. LEGEND!!
