I didn't find Nakano so interesting when I went there but SO MUCH CAT STUFF, I guess I need to go have another look. Overall, this video was awesome, the editing was good, you two look good and happy together, it's very nice to watch. I never really cared for your old collab videos, but big thumbs up for the newer ones and hope to see them more! These are nicer for the people living in Tokyo too. :)

Oh nooo! D: I made a couple of my own costumes but I had a terrible habit of putting it off until about a week before the con and then stressing out about it, lol! (Doesn't everyone do that?) Plus to be honest I'm not that great with a sewing machine. = u =' Have you thought about buying a sewing machine? I bet it would be a lot of fun to cosplay at a Japanese convention, although I hear the focus of those aren't so much the cosplay like in America/Canada, but the doujinshi.

I am a crazy cat lady. I would have a huge problem being anywhere near this place. On a slightly unrelated note - while watching this I was wondering if there is any sort of a problem with 'knock off' collectables or merchandise? Like, are there certain retailers or brands who you know stock legitimate items, while others are just cheap crappy whatevers... haha. Maybe people in Japan just don't even care?! I'd be interested to know :) x

Japan is very strict regarding knock offs and bootlegs, I can assure you you won't come across any knock offs over there like the other asian countries where its the opposite

Wow, how did you guys film in the shops? I went to Nakano Broadway this year too, but there are signs for no cameras/taking pictures/videos at the entrances of the shop, and the shopkeeper also stopped me from taking photos when I brought out my camera. Did you have to ask for special permission?

Good stuff Sharla! I always come here first when looking for those hard to find items. I collect a big range of car model lines, with this place being almost like a buy/sell market, there is a good chance you'll find what you're looking for. Maybe not right away, but most shops there are always adding to inventory, go back often! Mandarakemore まんだらけ中野店 is a major chain selling everything hobby related, each of their stores specialize in a specific area. You can easily lose track of time here!
