I am Japanese. I always enjoy having a video. I am studying English to become a hotel man in the future. Your pronunciation of English is easy to hear, it is interesting and I love it so much. Thank you for like Japan, thank you for telling the people of the world about the charm of Japan through movies. If you are interested in Japan please do come and join us! It is a big welcome.

Sharla, I always appreciate your point of view. Your content and approach to youtube comes off as genuine, honest and professional while still keeping your perspective fresh and interesting. The fact that you actually speak Japanese and engage in the culture makes you a really unique and legitimate Japan v-loger. I especially admire how you're always so polite and humble when you travel. You seem to stay true to yourself with what you share and never have click-bate or seem concentrated on creating trending videos. I always know you will have solid content wether its on Sharla in Japan or Sharmander. Loved this video by the way! Hope you have a lovely fall. xo 💕🍂👌

I went to Otsu as well, but just for the omi jingu because I loved chihayafuru! It was gorgeous there and I bought some special merch they only sell there. Unfortunately it rained very hard, since I went in the rainy season. Going there was so worth it for the pretty shrine though

Thanks for coming to Shiga! I've seen lots of people say they want to visit now which is great. Anybody planning to come to this area though should definitely go further north too, Hikone (has a famous castle too) and Nagahama etc are really beautiful. I think the lake also tends to look a bit fresher the further north you are too. There's also beaches in the summer and skiing in the winter! Shiga has a lot to offer for everyone :)

Omi Shrine is the sacred place of Karuta, so it is very wonderful to become a princess with twelve pieces of kimono in the picture of Karuta. I was impressed with your behavior and the insight into Japanese culture. .
