One of the funniest things I have seen recently is healer crying "I'm oom" and the tank saying "What does that mean" Me goes and tears hair out - ARRRRGHH Dear tanks, Mana is what is needed for healers to heal you. So when a healer says "I'm oom" it literally means they are out of mana. You want healed? Wait till healer get's mana up.

@@sharmsong in dream of mirror online i ran a solo doctor and someone asked me to team up with them, i told them i was a solo doctor and they said better than nothing, so i joined up, thy then spent the whole time complaining about me having no buffs and all my heals coming from attacks (both doctor attacks have leechlife only one heals party) and later i found out he was tanking armorless XD on another character i later made a support build with doctor as core class with skill sets from musician and merchant to make an op support build XD

80% of all healing and overhealing done by a healer is because of: 1) people standing in shit they weren't supposed to be standing in, 2) people not knowing the encounter mechanic and getting hit by something they shouldn't have been hit by, 3) people pulling too many mobs unnecessarily at once or because they attacked a random mob they shouldn't have and died in 1-3 hits, 4) because they or their pet keeps pulling aggro off of the tank thinking they can do a better job then the tank, 5) because someone didn't use an appropriate defensive cool down when they needed to, 6) because they are massively under geared or don't have the right gear equipped, and lastly 7) because the tank afk'd, d/c'd, or died during a pull or because the tank is doing a terrible job so everyone (mostly the healer) becomes the new tank. The other 20% of all healing done is the normal unavoidable healing required by the encounter.

@ Mictla Sometimes it is. I don't heal because I like to beat faces in but I have done it and sometimes it's impossible if the rogue is off doing his own thing and isn't in LoS. Or the tanks is pulling all the mobs and you can't outheal damage. It happens, but that's because someone is an idiot...or the hunter having his pet on growl...or just being stupid pulling random mobs. I've seen it all, but when it comes down to a healer who just isn't doing their job because....whatever reason, it doesn't matter....you can tell the difference. And it's always wrong. Those who don't want to pull their weight and do their job do not need to be in the group...simple.

Not only in WoW. But other games are more forgiving: Let a tank die who played sh*t and finished a boss with a dps who could move, avoid and evade, put out all I had even played pingpong with the aggro (one of the things a lot games allow for good healers) and after looting I rezzed the tank. He still didn't understand why and where he was wrong ;)

And for that reason on my druid I simply don't heal keystones high then 11. So no one can call me out. As for my hunter the only issues with healer I have are the ones who bail mid-run, and I personal try to make sure to avoid the avoidable damage even if my dps suffers. It beat the alternative. Of course now I remember of a Mythic plus run that I wish I had a recoding of which was Blackrook Hold 6 I healed. We were good till we wiped on the second to last boss, and a dps bailed on the run. So we pressed on and in the end on the last boss half way through the fight I lost the tank and dps. Was forced to off-tank while desperately trying to keep the mage alive. Though in the end the mage and myself were able to finish the fight with two chest time.

I am a Holy Priest and where I lose someone once in awhile it is because of someone doing something stupid. My position is not that far from my Tank, so Dps, you should hang out with us. An early example comes to mind...Blades of Light can not be disrupted, you move and don't get caught. If you do I will Rez ya later.

my favorite thing to heal are the timewalkers (sarcasm...oh yes ). It never fails that there is always that one random tank in que that forgets you get scaled to the Lvl of that dungeon...(including my heals) and thus pulls as if he/she is still a lvl 110 and it's just a farm run . Today it was us vs Sylvanis and the tank couldn't understand why the dps couldn't just burn her down in a few hits and why the heals weren't strong enough to keep his health from dropping below 100% ( even though he was dead center of the purple cookies---yes cookies are bad). And even though no one died and 4/5 knew the mechanics...we all "sucked" except him of course :D. Honestly had to give the benefit of the doubt that perhaps this person started post Cataclysm and has never actually met Sylvanis face to face or been on the receiving end of her rage.

I'll let dps die if they're just gonna stand in fire, it's not mana efficient to try and heal them through all that damage and then having them die anyways becuz they can't absorb enough of it to stay alive, and then watching the tank die, cuz ya were trying to keep some moron from dieing, and watching the rest of the group wipe cuz yer screwed at that point, unless ya can get a battle rez off on the tank in time, and hope that there's enuf deeps to finish the fight. I've been in groups where the healer obviously was too drunk, strung out on drugs or too bust screwing around to heal. My personal opinion in those cases is to kick them. I play a ret pally for that reason...I might be able to keep myself healed and then suggest we kick the heals. 'Can't blame a mage or hunter when there isn't one in the group. And blaming the tank for pulling too many...unless he's pulling the whole damned room...no, that doesn't wash. If you don't care to do your job....GTFO. DON'T HEAL. I don't pull people like that through and I won't run to save them when they get mobs attacking them. Because when you're wrong, you're wrong and heals not doing their job...you're all kinds of wrong.

finally started healing after 10 years of wow, theres lots of bad healers. alot of people roll healer because it was "easier" as its not competitive. which its all fine MMOs are ment to be inclusive of everyone which it used to be but the community has changed n everyone has to be skilled or their shit n have to uninstall. which i hate. but back to the point there are bad healers and they deserve the blame but people need to accept players are bad and you dont really need all 5 player to be high end. if everyone is high end the lowest get all the shit talking. its ok to be bad, who else is gonna be down the bottom of the metres n such. apprieciate that the enemy team has less skilled players. not everyone can be top 5%.
