I have seen people justifying her acting saying '' omg.. she is so gorgeous... It's just the character that has no dialogue and doesn't reveal her expressions " . There was this scene where her mom was exposing her identity and subsequently her lover professed his undying love for her . She had the exact " 😐😐" expression in both of those shots . Even as a person who doesn't express her emotions, in such extreme situations, there can be two body languages and facial expressions showing " I'm scared af ", " I'm moved by love!" . We didn't get to see how Alam felt ...at all .

She is not only called out for her expressionless acting but her extremely jealous arrogant rude behaviour with her costars in interviews like if this is the way she behaves in front of media and in public apperances what superiority she might have shown on the sets just being related to the director and this is when she has neither looks no talent horrible voice .Audience has all thr right to give thier feedbacks just like she has taken privildeges of nepotism..

That's clear that she needs to study acting first. Silent character also speaks with plain face. If an actor doesn't connect with the audience that means your homework is not enough. Sir, Charlie Chaplin, the God of acting, also acts with plain face and no dialogues. Moreover after the show if she's justifying her acting skills by comparing with the legend Madam Meena Kumari... very daring and not acceptable. I just wanted to say this actor please go and study from a good institute. If you keep on giving reasons like this it means you yourself self knows that you haven't done a good job...

There is nothing wrong in underplaying. But the character of the person should come across in the acting, not by constant justification. There are many actress who have played such role in the past. We as audience have understood them and applauded them. None of them justified that they were underplaying. They acted, we understood! Simple as that.

The trolls aren't hating on her on her acting which is also one reason but all the trolling is mostly because of her extremely superiority complex and the condescending manner in which she behaves with her senior co actor.
