This is the first video of yours I've seen, I'll be back to watch some more.! I love little gnome and fairy houses in the forest. I've been collecting bark and wood to make the houses, it never occurred to me to make my own wood. Sometimes I'm so thick. I make regular sized stained glass windows and yours are absolutely astonishingly good. Beautiful. I would love to see some little dots on the caps of the mushrooms, at least the big one. I can hardly wait to see how you've made the rest of your little town. Thanks for sharing your creative talents.

So glad you did that video, I really love what your doing. I can't wait to get this project done for my house. I find glass items in my garden. I also have added into my house broken pottery and dishes pieces to my house and I'm loving the look. Thanks again for taking us on the journey with you. Blessings 😇🤗

Love the stained glass windows! It's been awhile since I bought any but, they may still sell in the craft stores a product called Gallery Glass a faux stained glass that came in bottles like paint but thicker, it looks so real. I've done many mirrors and windows with it, and it peels off glass fairly easy.

You’re so clever! Love the mushrooms! I made a stained glass window and used black fabric puffy paint on a piece of plastic.

someone just asked a little while ago about puffy paint! But I had no idea, I'll go edit my comment and let them know it was done. And Gnomey and I just scheduled a post on fb , it should be up in about 40 min. He says to thank you very much, he loves his gifts and I do too! Thank you!!!! Very, very sweet :)

This came out very nice. Adding the string was a real bit of inspiration. It sure does give it a leaded glass look.Thanks for showing the plastic option. I think it came out great on both materials. Thank you for taking the time to reference the size (depth)of the wall. I knew your walls are not that thick but I was surprised at first too. Looked like a tree fortress. heehee

This is perfect timing, I'm working on a custom church for my Christmas village. Last night I just had tried all sorts of methods to make the stain glass for the windows. This is going to work so awesomely! I love your Gnomes and where they live. I intend on making your trees soon. Thank you so much for showing me how to do this.

ohhh you have no idea how happy that makes me, thank you for taking the time to comment, you made my day! This video was supposed to be up before Sept ended but I had issues with an app I was using for uploading. I got the issue fixed just today and I was doubting myself, with this delay, if I should post this now or wait. I got my answer! Have fun with your project, it sounds lovely :)

Could you use "puffy" paint for the outline?
@WhereTheGnomesLive4 жыл бұрын
I have never tried it myself, you can try a test piece and see if it sticks or not. I can't see why it wouldn't work tho...

Where did you purchase your rock tumbler from? I've been wanting to get one. It's on my wish list. :)

bought it via amazon. It's a Nat Geo hobby ed. I am currently editing the unboxing video for it, I wasn't sure if I should put it up yet but maybe I should now that you commented. I have done about 4 batches of glass in it now, I love it!

I wish my husband would let me craft away like that. He would never allow me to keep that bug project in our house. He has OCD and cant stand clutter, even if it is a project being worked on. Thanks for sharing.
@WhereTheGnomesLive4 жыл бұрын
you need your own room, a work space to call your own! If you have a desire to craft please don't let someone else's issues keep you from that, you're just as important too... Crafting can get you through so much in life, I can't imagine not being able to express myself this way.. I just can't imagine it. I will think positive and determined thoughts for you to get your own space, a corner, half a room, anything where you can be free to craft. Big hugs! Start today manifesting your space!
