Zena Does Nails had a great video about cleaning the old gel off of the bottom of a nail lamp. She suggested using hand sanitizer. I tried it (left it on longer than she suggested, because I forgot about it) and the old gel came off really well. I was surprised and excited about my "new" smooth bottom light. Thanks for this video!

I think the thick clear is very good and long wearing, should last at least 2 weeks but I always use a primer and thin layer of base coat first 😄

That should be long enough, if you're prepping properly then maybe your base coat could be a little too thick. Try putting as little on as possible and see if that works better for you 😃

Some gels can get a little hot but if you use the low heat setting it isn't a problem, mine is still just as good as when I bought it 😃

You would need to check the wattage of lamp required by CJP to cure their products, it should be on their website somewhere. If it is a low wattage then it would need a longer time in the lamp

You need to use alcohol or gel wipe off solution to wipe off the sticky layer when you have finished. If you are putting another layer on or a topcoat then you dont need to remove it until the final layer has been cured. If you use a non wipe topcoat then when it has cured there will be no stickiness at all. I hope this helps 😃

Each should be cured for 30 seconds, the nails need to be dehydrated and gently filed before the base coat too, hope this helps 👍

Sorry I've only just seen this question, sometimes mine does that but if I tap the button a couple of times it goes off. Do the timer buttons work? If you press the 10s button does it switch off after the 10 seconds? Also I would try using it without the bottom attached to see if that makes any difference. I think the 000 will stay on all the time if you aren't using the timer buttons and you actually have to unplug it for it to go off but as long as the curing light isn't coming on then I don't think it's damaged or faulty. I hope this helps 😁

Yes you do have to cure your base coat in the lamp for 30 seconds but it will be tacky when it comes out so that your colour can stick to it, so don't wipe the sticky layer off, just go straight on with your colour or glitter gel polish, then your top coat. I hope this makes sense 🤣😃

sorry, i got my lamp but it's not drying the cnd or my other brand fully through, i've always had the sticky layer on top of colours.. i've even put on a pop stick in for 2 minutes. It will be cured with the topcoat on but like i see on video's who cure just the colour totally i don't understand how they do it.. I have a certificate of gellak but my lamp had to be replaced and i ordered this one because of it's reviews.

@@ikkern8390 have you wiped the sticky layer off after your top coat? If you're not using a non wipe top coat then you will need to do this. If it's not curing then check it is fully under the lights and try for 60 seconds

@@SharonsNails i mean the colours itself, i see people say that they totally cure.. i know about the top coat, the non- wipe or the one you have to go over with (oh in English) lol sorry don't know the name right now.. i know you have to get the sticky layer off when not using u non wipe- top coat.. it's just the video's i have seen about this lamp.. they say everything is totally cured so also the colour but i think that is not possible.. sorry that i make u confused ;-) it's cured when the topcoat is on. I just find when i put the colour in with 2 minutes the sticky layer is ok.. but it's a lot of time for this lamp when people say and go over with something sharp that the colour is totally dry.. i've been doïng nails for 2 years and i have a certificate.. i do know what i am doïng but my lamp does not cure that fast - :-)

D. Dimple Just one hand only, but it is big enough to fit your thumb in as well, some lamps you can't do that with. It is so quick when curing that it really doesn't take that long to do all of your nails 😁

Kerri Janelle Hi, there are separate buttons for 10, 30 and 60 seconds so you either press one and it goes off when that time has counted down or you can just put your hand in and it automatically starts counting up, but you have to take your hand out for it to stop, it doesn't remember how long you last did it for. I'm reading all these great reviews. This product has been horrible for me. I'm using gelish polish. Even the thinnest coat is tacky and isn't drying. I'll be returning it.

Gel polish stays tacky until you remove the sticky layer with alcohol or gel residue solution
