Britain is my nephew. Just to answer a couple of your questions--4A is the 2nd highest classification in Utah in 2015 (5A is the highest in Utah but 5A & 4A teams are pretty comparable football teams). Timpview also beat an excellent team in San Diego (Mission Hills), Britain's senior year. He ran for 285 yards and 6 td's against Mission Hills. For the first two games on his junior year, he was wide receiver and kick off returner before becoming QB starter. He caught 4 td's as an receiver and had two kick returns td's in just two games. After that, he went 12-0 as QB his junior year and 14-0 as QB his senior year. Thank you for your commentary. I'll tell my friends about you.

UPDATE; Check out Britain Covey's college PAC12 Utah Utes 2015 highlights below. Covey ditched BYU for Utah despite all his family (brothers and cousins who played at BYU). Covey was a freshman All-American in 2015 and then went to Chile for two years on a mission. He's back now as a only a Sophomore in 2018. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d36pYoFoh6aLbJo

Timpview plays in the 2nd highest level in Utah. It was 4A but now its 5A since they just split them into to 6 classifications. They've won 8 state championships at that level in the last 14 years. They are usually ranked in the top 5-10 in the State and has been ranked in the top 100 in the country a few times.
@ChrisColson6 жыл бұрын
5A is the highest, but Timpview is one of the best schools in Utah, they flew to California to play mission hills which was the best in California at the time and Britain destroyed them. He also got a full ride to UofU and started as a freshman
@thehiddenleafsamoan28986 жыл бұрын
When I was in high school, Britain Covey was running 4A. I played in the hardest region for 5A in Utah but I remember always seeing this dude put up crazy stats on MaxPreps. Utah isn’t as competitive as some other states like Florida, Louisiana, California, and Texas. But there have been some ballers to come out of Utah!

The team he fucked up the most in this video was a pretty decent team from California, Mission Hillis high school. Covey put up 260 yards rushing and 6 rushing TDs as a QB against a top 40 ish team from California 😂

yBrian Blash go look at his Utah highlights before you talk. He tore up the Pac 12
@thekylleroberts6 жыл бұрын
yBrian Blash The team he played for couldn't compete with the top of Florida, they could play with the next level down like teams below the top 40 in Florida. Bingham High is the only Utah team I'd trust to play the top of Florida regularly. But this isn't about his team it's about him, and his elusiveness is so great that he had success at the highest level of college football so I'm sure if you took him (not his team) and placed him in Miami hed hang with them.

#Sharpe Life. Mr. Sharpe, that is crazy, I was just going to recommend Covey. He played in the same region that I played in, in HS. He's a beast, and I'm sure you all are thinking it's Utah. You all would be surprised to hear some of the names that came out of Utah. Utah football is better than you'd think. I'm not claiming it's a powerhouse by any means. But Utah has the 2nd most Polynesian's per capita after Hawaii. Anyway Brittain went on an LDS mission after winning freshman of the year in the Pac 12 (I think) in 2015. He just got back, and is a sophomore WR at the University of Utah (same college I played for) in 2018. Watch out for him!

You should show Coveys' college highlights, he killed it at the University of Utah before he went on his mission. Also, one of the teams Timpview plays is the team Haloti Nagta played for on HS. If you don't know who Nagta is, look him up. He's now an NFL veteran has played for a long time in the NFL and was known as on of the best D tackles in the NFL. (Also, 5a was the highest in Utah at this time, but 4a is the next and there's not much of a dropoff between the 4a and 5a.

Well he IS in the league, second year with the eagles!! Had a nice 30 ish yard punt retur. In the superbowl last year. Had 1 kick return for 30 yards, 3 punt returns for 81 yards with a long of 54 on a sick return last week!! Well on his way to be the best returner in the nfl! And wait tell they are smart enough to start him at reciever as well!!! He will excell anytime he is on the field, PERIOD!! He isnt a "fit in" guy. He is a "stand out" better then everyone on the field guy, with only one exception... if they are playing the saints! Then that title would go to Taysom Hill considering hes the greatest football player in HISTORY!! But just wait tell covey gets more opportunities, he's all ready an elite returner in the nfl. But he will very soon be far and away the best return specialist in the nfl, and the best slot reciever in the nfl when Philly coaches pull their heads out and start him at slot, with a game plan to get him 15+ offensive touches a game as well!

As I'm typing, Covey is starting his first training camp with the Eagles. As many of you know, making the NFL is so much about circumstance and opportunity. I feel he has the potential to carve-out an amazing NFL career if he stays healthy. His quickness and change-of-direction are sick! He can easily play slot on a team where 3-step drops are central. He can also punt return! He is a great kid and hopefully things will work out!
@NoHaBi022 жыл бұрын
I know he's too short for it, but it would be so fun to watch if the Eagles allowed him to play QB, at least in wildcat formation just to see the runs he could pull off.
@edkiely27122 жыл бұрын
@@NoHaBi02 No man! It's good as a thought experiment! Covey's quick change-of-direction works in high school, but not the NFL! Plus, he would get hurt eventually! Even if he could be used like Taysom Hill, they would run a few plays for him every game, but there's no way the Eagles are going to do it! Covey, if all things go well, will develop in the slot, where he can utilize his quickness and get into open space!
