I’d like to point out this is the best recruiting class Saban has ever signed even beating out his 2021 class who was the highest ranked class in history. I really think this year engulfed Saban with rage especially the cockiness of UGA and the announcers during the NC game. He straight up flushed his entire coaching staff and is going for the top coaches in each field. I think there was entitlement issues in his 2020-2021 classes and most of them didn’t live up to expectations and ironically enough jumped ship. He has wide open positions across the board from RB to WR to DL to the entire DB room that either went pro or transferred out. For the first time ever it isn’t “sit behind other 5 stars for a year or two and wait your turn” it’s “we have multiple openings across the board for crucial positions come start today” His entire DB unit will be new along with his WR unit and what isn’t shown in this video is the WR group he snagged are absolute monsters that could easily rival his 2018 group of Jeudy, Ruggs, Smith, and Waddle.

Nick Saban wasn't complaining about NIL. He was warning college football. Last season he didn't use NIL like most schools did...this season he did. We see how that played out. Think back through the years about how many times nick Saban warned college football about changes to the sport....then he used the new rules to dominate even more. That is what will happen until he retires or they change the rules again

Saban basically is looking out for the "little man" as far as NIL goes.he loves this game and every aspect about it,he jus doesn't want $$ controlling the game(which it always has and will) he doesn't want smaller market schools buried jus bc they don't have the $ to recruit high talent. Money controls everything, thats 1 reason Oklahoma and Texas are coming to the SEC, the BIG 12 is a sinking ship. 10 years or less the SEC and BIG10 will be the only relevant conferences that have all the "blue bloods" of college football. Personally, NIL and the way the transfer portal is now has ruined college football.lemme be clear tho, I have no issues with players gettin NIL. It needs and has to be better regulated. Something has to be done before it kills the best game in the world. the way it's setup now it causes so much internal chemistry issues.example,: Bama played Bama football against Kstate,the best game all year and the diff was those 10 players who went into the portal and Saban talked to each one individually in his office and told them they can still play with their teamates in the Sugar Bowl... Each one said no they wasnt playing. Fast forward to the sugar Bowl,them players ain't there and the Tide played like they should've all year long.did those 10 players cause some internal drama and it fked up thw team chemistry??? IDK and the only ones that do are the ones in that locker room. But that's a strange coincidence. Anyway this year's recruits along with what ere and classes for the few years are gonna be Tide team of old,physical, punishment, pos depth, hard nose running game,complimentin a very good passing scheme as well, def is gonna be SMOTHERIN and gettin sacks,QB pressure that will cause turnovers, TFL, the potential of being a top 3 Bama team GOAT. I feel very very good about the next3-5 seasons.the Tide will go B2B with a chance for a 3peat. They weren't weak at wr this year. They didn't have routes to run. Every play O'Brien "designed" was a go out and curl, no rubs, no crossing routes, no motions, no trips nothing that allowed the wr to get open. The only time bama scored was after the play broke down and Bryce scrambled and the wr broke off their routes.

Difference between this class and A&M's from last year is you know Saban will get the most out of the guys he's got, and the guys that can't cut it will leave and Saban will grab guys from the portal who will. Also, notice Saban doesn't overload on portal guys. He finds a few top dogs who are underutilized at other schools and usually turns them into first rounders (i.e. Jamison Williams, Henry Toa'to'o, etc)

As a diehard Alabama fan keep in mind that Alabama is done recruiting for the 2023 recruiting class. During the 1st recruiting cycle in December 2022 there are still 5 recruits that did not sign and decided to wait until February 2023 to sign during the 2nd and final recruiting cycle. The remaining players consist of two 5 stars and three 4 stars. They might be waiting to see what coaching changes will take place after Alabama plays in the Sugar Bowl on December 31, 2022.

@@bensmith632 Ben go to the Touchdown Alabama (TDA) podcast titled 2023 National Signing Day on KZbin dated 5 days ago. They listed every player that sign and the five players that didn't sign. As I said before two are 5 stars and three are 4 stars. If they sign in February 2023 that will give Alabama nine 5 stars since seven has already signed and twenty 4 stars. I don't know if there have been any updates since TDA posted the podcast. Check it out.

Once you're on campus you're not a 5* or any kind of * as long as you haven't played a down, esp. in the SEC. Alabama-Georgia in the SEC title game seems a good bet, but with the CFP enlarging it's what everyone has in January that will count. Both teams have questions at QB that will be answered during the season.

The Tide was not up to par this year and definitely would not have beaten Georgia but the playoff rankings were totally messed up. Alabama on their worst day with second stringers would have beaten TCU. Georgia did it with freshmen. TCU did not have what it took to be in the National Championship game. That was embarrassing. I saw the results of a poll about this game. It was to be the matchup of the decade. It actually started out as the least viewed game since 1999 with only 17.2 million viewers. Next in the poll numbers, by halftime it had become the least watched, televised college game by viewers in history. The approx, viewer total went down to less than 4 million. It also went down as the least profitable game for advertisers in history. The Tide needs to bring it this year.

The really crazy part about all these linebackers/outside backers bama got us the fact that they’re already loaded at the position before those new guys signed. Last year Jeremiah Alexander signed with bama who was the #1 OLB plus Jihaad Campbell who’s a hybrid LB and Shawn Murphy at ILB and those 2 were the top 2 LB’s of last year’s class and they have deonte Lawson and Kendrick Blackshire ahead of them on the depth chart. Bama is as loaded as any team I’ve ever seen at the LB position for next year.

Doesn't matter how many 5 stars we get until we get away from Golden's vanilla style defense with almost no blitzes and if they do blitz its never hidden we are not going to be elite on that side of the ball. If it wasn't for Bryce young playing superman all season we lose at least 2 more games. our defenses couldn't stop anyone when it mattered the last 2 seasons. The defense was overlooked in 2020 because the offense was so dominant but people are seeing now why so many people want the DC gone. I mean dont get me wrong he's an elite recruiter but you got to do something with it. JMO. RTR

Imo Coach wasn't complaining. Every time there was change in college football that he thought wasn't good for the game, he would always ask "Is this what we want college football to become?" Which history is slowly showing people that they shouldn't take it as complaining, but should read between the lines. Examples: 2013 Iron Bowl loss and a loss to Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl he said it in one of his press conferences and everyone took it as complaining. 2014 in came Lane Kiffin and we all know what happened during that 3 yr stint. Transfer Portal: We've seen what he's capable of there. Not quantity-wise, but the quality of players based on needs. NIL: We all saw that interview of Coach accusing Tamu of buying their class and he asked again if this is what we want it to become. And..... Here we are.

Saban gets the best but certain ones he always benches. I started noticing this 10 years ago and it's gotten more and more over the years. Then the ones he plays has brought the class of the school down by their negative character ways and then when he finally gets on to them they leave. We've seen that this year. I and many have walked away from Bama because they are not the classy school they use to be just street football dirty playing team. That is very evident this year. The respectful ones he puts on the bench but only gets them so they won't go to another team they wise up and leave. That's why his team had the highest transfer portal this year. I had followed them for 40 years but I've seen the decline in character of the school because of who he uses to play dirty football to win games and not discipline them and put the respectful ones on the bench. Let's see he had the highest recruit but yet also the highest transfer. A championship team keeps the players because they're not just about winning at all cost but winning more with character and skill and the latter is definetly not Bama.

Doesn't matter about recruiting talented players. It's about coaching them. If your OC and DC are worthless, then you can beat the cream puffs and lose to Texas A&M and Georgia. The next year lose to Tennessee and LSU. You need coaches as good as you had when you won Championships. You win titles and the recruits will be knocking down your door.
