Mine definitely does not fly that well. Can't trim it enough to get to stop drifting and it shoots off to the moon without warning.

Make sure you have the little notch in the cut out in the right spot. It could only plug in one way sometimes they are a little harder to plug in and before you force it check that depends aren’t bent or anything like that.

It runs off the factory battery so long as you charge the drone itself.

Came with a weird shaped one. I don’t think you can buy it at the store. You might be able to reach out to Sharper Image and see if they’ll sell you one or just send you one.

It has a proprietary cable, not a common one. You’ll have to look in your box and get that phone number that says do not take to the store. Call this number if you have any technical issues or need parts I can’t see it being much they may just send you one that would be your best bet
