hey, are u doing it correctly? i think for (+)-DET the epoxy group should be down the plane but u are drawing a complete opposite to it.

I think that's right. The "down the plane" version your saw has hydroxy group facing the front. (Here the hydroxy group is facing back.) If you don't believe that, you can sign R and S configuration.
