Ross, 3 hours journey time, left at 06.45 and arrived Portishead 09.45. Tide was 8.5 metres at Sharpness, wind speed was 9 to 16mph from the NE. Total distance was 21 miles with an average speed of 8mph and max speed of 13.9mph between the two bridges, thanks for your interest.

@@WyeInvader Thank you for that information. One last question - Were you running on the outbound tidal flow? The mentioned mph between the bridges suggests to me a fairly stout outbound tidal flow. Or, am I missing something? Thank you - take care - be well!
