I really hope you enjoyed the video! I worked very hard to maintain as much information as possible while keeping it entertaining and fast-paced, as that is the kind of build video I like to watch. This was the first slingshot build video that I have done where I didn't show me heating it up (I do that with a torch), and where I didn't include any text or narration to explain what I was doing. My reasons for this was, it's simply really time-consuming to add either of those in and as I was saying above, I was going for a more fast-paced feel for this one, versus a slower-paced tutorial style feel that I normally do. Hope the gamble paid off. Let me know what you think in the comment section below! This was the second or third slingshot I had made in this style for clients. I am not the best at shooting mini slingshots like this (which is why I did not include a shooting test, I also had to ship it out to its new owner, so I didn't have enough time), but everyone who has received one has loved them, and says they're extremely comfortable to shoot and quite accurate as well. Thanks for watching! Really hope you enjoyed! This has been in the works for a while, and I'm very pleased to have finally finished it! I am sorry I wasn't able to include a shooting test or a picture of it banded in the video. I make most of these as custom pieces and have to ship them out to their new owners right when they are done, and I don't want to damage them with a poor release, so I'm rarely ever able to film a shooting test with them. I thought it was pretty self-explanatory how these are normally banded (tied on using wrap and tuck, and shot over the top of the forks), but I am planning on making another one and doing a shooting test with it soon. in general, everything is fine. but... why are you forging at a metal temperature below the forging temperature? with such success can be forged cold.

Excellent video. I did enjoy the pace... but I have questions. The torch and iron pot- is that an oil finish? Is there a pic or video of your pfs banded up? How do you tie on flat bands and/or tubes?

Thank you my friend! Appreciate the feedback. Excellent questions. In my next build, I will try to make those things more clear. Yes, the pot is filled with boiled linseed oil or BLO as we like to call it. The slingshot is heated to a precise temperature that allows the oil to soak into the steel and blacken it without burning. Sadly I do not have a pic of one banded or I would have included it in the video. You tie on flats or tubes using the wrap and tuck method exactly like any other slingshot. For wider flats, you might have to fold them in half to allow them to fit on the forks. Hope that helped, let me know if you have any other questions.
