I too wish Sabretooth were a little taller. A little wider, also. I think the Marvel Select version has better proportions. I also would have liked an alternative head with a closed mouth. Still a cool figure anyway.

My #1 Marvel Legends figure this year is definitely Astonishing Wolverine. Such an amazing and impressive figure. My runner up is Deadpool Legacy collection Colossus. I love that figure just ss much but his kinda terrible ab crunch and slight proportional issues in the chest knock him down ever so slightly. Phoenix is definitely on my list too but I'm not quite sure where for now. Overall a great year for Marvel Legends even if I didn't buy enough to even make a top 10 😅

🎯As someone who is a comic book collector first, I got into Marvel Legends this year only after having couple. However, these action figures are amazing to new collectors or people who haven’t seriously bought action figures since they were kids. There’s really no bad figures they are all awesome, the face sculpts are amazing. And the most of these figures are on sale or heavily reduced.

Nice top 10 and honorable mentions! I stopped collecting at the end of the toybiz days, but it’s nice seeing the latest releases even if they never hit the local toy shelves. I’m looking forward to seeing next year’s lists.

I have this Zarda (Power Princess), and although I quite like her, I have some problems with her: 1) She is too tall 2) It is very unstable and falls easily (I her on the wall to really need to lean that she will stand) 3) Her weapons arenot that good (her shield broke) Although I did succeed in taking a video with her, it was really difficult to do poses with the hands and feet

I absolutely agree about eh fun factor on Giant Man. He is the most fun large figure I own now. Even considering the 18” Spider-Man from Toybiz. That one would be more fun still tho if I wasn’t terrified of breaking it lol

I would be having far more fun with this Giant-Man Haslab figure if they would keep their word on the replacement eyes, which were supposed to ship mid-December. Still have not received confirmation, and New Year's Eve is only a few days away. I'm so with you on wanting to have fun, though, Shart, and I'm chomping at the bit to play with Giant man with forward-facing eyes. I think I've been pretty patient already.

I love the Phoenix! My only issue with her is that her head sculpts are a little too small, but she's perfect with the Dark Phoenix head sculpt. My top ten: 10. Scarlet Spider 9. She-Hulk 8. Iron Man Mark 20 7. Dr. Doom (Cabal 3-pack, you could put the whole 3-pack here really) 6. Phoenix 5. X-Men '97 Cyclops 4. Spider-Man Animated Series Vulture 3. I totally agree with you! The fun factor is very important in terms of action figure collecting! I consider it as well when I mention my favorite figures. Sometimes they might not be the biggest character, the most posable figure, the one with the most accessories, but the fact that you spent time with THAT FIGURE, definitely gives it points when you rate it.

I put Ka-zars head on my comic accurate US Agent figure, looks sick, also used Ka-zar body with gorr from the movies robe bottom/cloak an wall green sentry head to make a god mode Nate Grey/X-man. Happy with both.

Great list. We've been fortunate to have so many good Marvel Legends figures to choose from. Btw, when you said that if people are not having fun with their figures, then what's the point? I couldn't agree with you more. These days it feels like people are just looking for ways to be unhappy. Nothing in life is perfect, but if we take the time to appreciate the good, maybe the world wouldn't feel like such an unhappy place. Happy New Year!

My Giant Man came with all the same issues as everyone else. I wish he was a little bulkier up too and wish he had smaller hands. I like the articulated fingers when they’re executed correctly. All that said, I love staring at my giant man. Glad I got him

I wouldn't have included Giant-Man based on the fact that he's so exclusive by being a Haslab not a commercial release. I would also remove Phoenix, Zabu (which I did love a lot, just not top 10), and Hulkbuster (not impressed with it, tbh). I agree with the rest of your choices, but I would swap in: #1 Warbird, #2 Superior Spider-Man, #3 Astonishing X-Men Wolverine, and #4 Spider-Man No way Home Green Goblin with Glider. I know many didn't care for it, but I really love Sam Wilson's Cap. They did the wings just the way I wanted.

I don't buy a lot of new Marvel Legends anymore, but for me my top 5 would would be; 5. Warbird 4. Venom (retro card) 3. Astonishing Wolverine 2. Luke Cage (from the 2-pack) 1. Nick Fury (SHIELD 3-pack) I just love that figure. Not sure what it is about it, I just really like it a lot.

My top ten list of the year is: 1. Tombstone 2. Giant-Man 3. Venom 4. DP&W Wolverine 5. Colossus 6. Carnage 7. Arnim Zola 8. Doctor Doom 9. Helmut Zemo 10. Iron Patriot Honorable Mentions: 11. The Beyonder 12. Danny Ketch 13. Model 9 Iron Man Giant-Man isn’t No. 1 for me because it’s a lot of effort and work to pose because of the size (the size isn’t bad, it’s just as a result it’s heavy), the whole issue with one of the eye pieces, and how scary it is to pose the fingers. I still love it, but Tombstone beat it out for me 🤷‍♂️

My ten favorite ML of the year, in no order at all Giant Man (finally one big enough to usurp the toy biz version) Wasp Ghost Rider Crystal (20 YEARS I waited…) Hulkbuster Tombstone Justice (So happy to have him for my Avengers collection) Titania She-Hulk Hydra Cap Obviously I can’t speak to figures I didn’t buy. Skipped basically all X-Men except 80th Wolverine and Angel. ALMOST went for Death’s Head and Odin. Haven’t had a chance to get the new Zemo, Jack O Lantern, shield pack or Superior Iron Man. Runner ups would be Count Nefaria, Hallow’s Eve, Beyonder, Angel, and the Heroes For Hire two pack I’d say my biggest disappointment was Lockjaw. Too small and the face is all wrong. I’ll be sticking with the Mezco version. But he was just an accessory for Crystal anyway.

There were a lot of good figures this year. Odin, Phoenix, The Angel. Love the Retro Carded figures from Spider Man, Secret Wars and X-Men 97, love the Gambit Figure and the Brown Suited Wolverine. The Scarlet Spider and Venom/Carnage were favorites this year. Between these and GI-Joe Classified/Carded figures it put a huge dent in my bank account. Love your reviews Shartimus, Happy 2025…🎉🎆

In total fairness his liberal views do show a lot: Apologies for things not his fault that have no reason to even be mentioned, calling something in a *comic* book misogyny, having zero problems with things that are absolutely absurd such as race swapping classic characters, while ignoring that the women are the same height as the men or how they change certain costumesike Titania's (which is a sin) and other lib things-- so it does get grating on occasion..
