The screws are for holding the flat part of the flight stand. Look under it, you'll see it. Also, if you want ultimate otachi, remove the throat of the flying version and replace it with the throat sack from the original. And replace the the head so you can the ultimate clean otachi.

Another GREAT review! NECA hit it out of the part AGAIN! I LOVE the variety we were able to get in this Pacific Rim line and the mix and match parts are icing on the cake. The movie is hands down one of my favorite movies of all time. In this day and age of quickly canceled toy lines I am so happy NECA has given us so many, well sculpted and painted figures. Again great review Shartimus and great job NECA! I can't wait for Ultimate Striker Eureka and I would love to have the very first Jaeger, Brawler Yukon from the Pacific Rim prequel comic. Make it happen NECA :)

Shart, in your review, when moving stuff around some of it got removed from the figure, like the head. It's actually supposed to come off so you can mix and match the figures to your liking.

That Shartimus T-Rex just reminded how BAD Hasbro's jurassic World figures were... wouldn't it be awesome if NECA picked up the Jurassic Park line? They could pull off such badass things with the dinos and actually have them be screen-accurate like these Pacific Rim figures.

predaguy Just look for the dinosaur models by Papo. Most of them are based on the designs of Jurassic Park. Except for most of the predators, who have movable jaws, they are solid pieces though. Still very awesome models!

McMuth I know about those, but fully articulated dinosaur figures like these Pacific Rim kaijus would be the most awesome thing in the world. As far as I know there is only one, the Revoltech T-Rex, but that thing is tiny and expensive as hell.

ShartimusPrime Man, this makes me wish I had a small museum's worth of space to fill with collections. My Marvel Legends (combined with my D-Arts MegaMan figures) are already reaching critical mass, and I've only got a small fraction of what you have. I LOVE awesome figures, and big crazy ones like the Pacific Rim kaiju and Godzilla are ones I wish I could collect, but I also don't just want to swamp my house in action figures... The illusion that I'm an adult is hard enough to maintain as it is :P But yea, now I gotta go watch Pacific Rim again.

You're supposed to turn the stand around when you want Otachi in "grasping" poses. That way the "hook" of the end of the stand slips under her ribs securely. The way you had it is for the full flying pose as you had, but yeah, turn it around, slide it under the rib area, and get her feet up and you're good.
